I had a blast getting to know Shelby and Amy at Plan On it Events & Design for my Sept 2022 wedding. I met Shelby exactly one year before my wedding date, and met Amy a couple of months prior to the wedding. Shelby is so bubbly, fun and responsive and had a lot of great vendor recommendations for us (the catering recommendation was a definite highlight and we had a blast at our tasting). Shelby was wonderful to work with as our primary wedding planner, and Amy stepped in to take the lead due to some circumstances, but did a fantastic job as our coordinator and planner the day of the wedding! Working with Shelby for almost 2 years to plan my dream wedding was a fun and exciting experience! Her vendor recommendations were always spot on.. she was so organized that my now-husband and I actually enjoyed our time being engaged by giving us breaks in between wedding planning to de-stress and actually enjoy being engaged. She provided me with tools to help with my anxiety (I am an ICU nurse + military vet = type A bride).. and a timeline and all the excel sheets (not mandatory) I needed to keep organized.

Foremost, coming into my wedding day I heard a lot about brides being stressed on their wedding day.. not having the opportunity to stay present and enjoy the moment because of all the logistics going on but that was NOT the case for me. I had the best time on my wedding day - Shelby and her team were running the day.. she provided the best team of vendors, and I swear I did not even lift a finger nor had to coordinate with a single vendor on my wedding day. I was able to be present and enjoyed the whole night with my family, friends and my husband - that to me was the best part about having Shelby as my planner.

She is truly the best planner and the sweetest human being out there!

She really took the time to understand what I wanted for the wedding and creating a mood board that perfectly encapsulate it. Shelby was our wedding planner for our September 2023 wedding. SHE IS AMAZING. I enjoy planning events and throw events for both work and personal, and watching Shelby really highlighted the distance between “I enjoy and am good at this” and a professional.

At the offset, she took the time to understand exactly what style/vibe/scope that we wanted and crafted a plan specific to us, and did such a great job.

Shelby was extraordinarily organized, knowledgeable, calm under pressure and was able to adapt on the fly when things went wrong (like the box of table numbers disappearing).

As far as communication, Shelby is top notch. We had a regular cadence of calls, and she sent notes after to us. We always knew exactly what to-dos we had and when they needed to be done by, so the "crunch time" at the end was as pain-free as possible.

She also makes sure that the bride and groom are always taken care of and stress free.

She has a TON of experience with other vendors throughout her years of planning weddings, and helped guide us on which ones would be a good fit for us.

Can’t talk highly enough about Shelby. If you book her for your wedding, you won’t regret it!
