I had the opportunity to use Kate and her team at Plan It Martha's Vineyard for our wedding and I couldn't have asked for better or more. I remember my first call and knowing that Kate and her team would take the best care of us. We had a very specific vision of what we wanted our weekend to be like and everything was executed to perfection. She handled and had relationships with all of the vendors, listened to our every changing need/ request and made it a stunningly beautiful and seamless experience. The biggest piece of advice I have about planning a wedding is (1) hire a planner, and (2) make sure that they’re local to your wedding location so that they know your vendors.

If you’re lucky enough to be having your wedding on Martha’s Vineyard or Nantucket, Plan It is really the best choice. Kate and her team (huge shout out to Max who has a heart of gold) worked sooooo closely with our vendors to plan the most gorgeous dream wedding we can ever ask for. We worked with Kate over the course of 2.5 years to plan our dream wedding, rehearsal lunch, and welcome party. Kate was both flexible and firm when she needed to be, pivots quickly, and made everything run so smoothly. Please do yourself a favor and go with Plan It.

I couldn't imagine my wedding day without Doriana and her team! She kept us on track during the planning process and answered each of our many questions thoughtfully. Her calm demeanor and experience was greatly appreciated. She is so well connected on the island and was able to connect us to an incredible team of vendors, all whom she had worked with before.

I was most impressed and grateful for the role Plan It played on our actual wedding day. They truly brought our vision to life and thought of everything! I didn't have to worry about any logistics. They took care of it all! Having them there allowed me to fully live in the moment and enjoy our wedding. They went above and beyond all expectations.

We used PlanIt for our September 2021 wedding - they planned the most lovely celebration for us and we will always cherish the memories!

We were originally supposed to get married in the fall of 2020 but had to postpone due to the pandemic. PlanIt arranged the postponement completely and made it so easy -- they have great relationships with all the vendors on the island and were very professional.

Plan It was fantastic through out the entire wedding planning process. Doriana helped us with many decisions big and small and really took the reigns in the weeks leading up to the event, ensuring we were worry-free going into wedding weekend and could focus on being present with our guests. And most importantly, she was instrumental in making the wedding itself flow seamlessly. We had iffy weather that required some last minute reshuffling but Doriana handled it all in the background with efficiency and ease. Strongly recommend Plan It if you’re looking for wedding planning services on the Vineyard or Nantucket!

We are so thankful for Plan It during our wedding experience in Martha's Vineyard! My family and friends had such an amazing time - we received so much feedback from our guests on how seamless the day went. This was a large part to do with Doriana's coordination behind the scenes - our guests went from the church, to a tent and then inside the Winnetu and it was all flawlessly executed! As a bride, it was so helpful to have Doriana's expert opinion and to organize everything as we were leading up to the day. It wouldn't have come together so well without her. The most important thing I can say about Doriana as a planner is this: everything on the day of our wedding went perfectly smoothly, and we barely saw her. Surely, she was doing a tremendous amount of work behind the scenes to make our wedding so perfect and beautiful, but on our end, she was completely unobtrusive.

For us, we stressed a lot about ensuring our guests had an easy time in such a remote, expensive, hard to get to place. One guest texted me afterwards, "this weekend was a movie." We're grateful to Doriana for making sure everything went as smoothly as it did, so our loved ones could just bask in the beauty of the island.
