We had such a fun day out on the boat! We rented a family tritoon for the day. The gentleman that helped us was very nice to show us around the boat, and was helpful to point out key areas to visit nearby. We were able to find places to stop and swim around and find many treasures, along with spotting sea life. Keep in mind that you rent the boat for a flat fee and then you pay for the gas used at the end of the trip.

We had a great time using the pontoon boat! It's perfect for big family & kids. Took kids out for birthday celebration. Holds up to 12 people. Boat was clean and looked brand new. Will rent again for sure!

This was are 3rd time renting and it never disappoints the rental crew is always informative and the equipment is always in good order. The watercraft has gps and makes it possible to be safe from running aground or getting lost along with plenty of room and comfort on the 24ft pontoon. We had another great day with Pirate Monkey you guys make it easy thank you and we will be back.

Brand new, well equipped, very reliable, economical 4-stroke vessels. As a 40 yr. + former big boat owner and over the horizon navigator I can state unequivocally the safety equipment is new, the craft has great electronics, i.e. GPS with Plotter, Side Scanning Sonar, Bait Box, Twin Danforth anchors, safety kit, Capitan's chairs, great Stereo with Bluetooth, fair pricing, and an extremely friendly and accomodating staff. Since selling my last boat in 2008, I would not think of renting a boat from anywhere else other than Pirate Boat Monkey. And take it from someone who not only knows boats, and is also a very tough critic of "rent-me" boats in my home in St. Pete. This is not that kind of business as they want you to visit again. In addition to the excellent equipment, it's their service that sells. Josh is the primary reason I can say these things as he is the public's forward facing ambassador for Pirate Monkey and it was his kindness when I had to cancel twice resulting family emergencies that completely sold me. Customer service over the long haul is everything and Pirate Boat Monkey delivers customer service like on other company that I have rented from, which is why I have become a gold member and will continue to rent monthly until I say goodbye to this great place I call home.

Sunset / Pirate Monkey was fantastic. We had a great experience renting a deck boat from these folks today. They let us bring our dog. 😀 The boat was super clean and ran perfectly. More than anything, though, the entire team from the owner to the captain to the helpers… everyone was kind, courteous and helpful. Twice, they went above and beyond to help us out of jams that we got ourselves into. Andrew, Josh and Brian provided a level of customer service that I really haven’t seen before. It’s not just professionalism, it’s generosity of spirit. There’s not a chance that we would rent a boat from anyone else after our experience today. Thanks so much guys!

Giving it a 3 star till we can rent again. Honestly, if everything went right this boat rental would be the best, blows Marina Jack out of the water. We got out of the marina and as we went to speed up, something with the transmission went and we’re stuck in the middle of the Manatee River. They did give us the option to switch to a pontoon boat, but I did not feel comfortable never driving one before. We’ll definitely try them again as things happen and will update the review accordingly.
