Omg what a blast!!! Took our 4 yo on this pirate adventure and he had the best time!! He got to shoot water canyons at a pirate, search for a hidden map on the ship, hunt for treasure, and even saw dolphins!! This adventure is fun for all ages. My hubby and I enjoyed the super engaging and friendly captain and staff. They really made this adventure worth every penny!! We can’t wait to experience it again. Not to mention it was a great time being out on the ship and enjoying the beautiful Florida weather. Thank you for an unforgettable time mates!!

Our kids LOVED this pirate cruise, and the adults did too! Everything was smooth sailing, the staff knew exactly what to do to manage a bunch of kids, and keep them entertained. Captain Blimey was super kind and easy to work with. Highly recommend!

Easy to book online and convenient location for all vacationers in the area (even post hurricanes). Very friendly and theatrical staff with a great storyline/script. Adults and kiddos loved it! The tattoos and dress up clothes were a nice additional touch to add to the experience 🙂 Thanks Barnacle, Captain Blimey, Fin, and Pirate Pete for the best pirate adventure!

Wow just wow!!! Pirate adventures was above my expectations my 2 almost 3yr old loved it. To start once you check in they have assigned a pirate name for your child and their pirate name includes their actual name such a fun touch. all the kids get a pirate tattoo of their choice, they have pirate costumes for the kids to put on, and they have additional pirate items you can buy that are very reasonably priced. Once the kids are on the ship the crew is completely hands on, parents hang on the back while the crew entertain the kids. They also tell the story of the “bad” pirate who just so happens to appear on a smaller boat when the kids spot him they run to the cannons and shoot him with water!!! Then they look for treasure where the kids spot an actual treasure chest in the water. They help pull it up and each kid gets a bag of treasure!!! Then they go on the search for the “bad” pirates loot, the kids find it in the water and pull it up and all they all get a drink from his grog. This was 100% worth it and the crew never broke character once. The price was beyond responsible I 100% recommend! We will be back

So much bang for the buck!
We had a fantastic time with our 4 y/o grandson on a sunset cruise. The experience started with face painting and choosing a costume for the children. Next, the kids were given some basic rules and we were on our way to the ship. The sail was perfectly choreographed and First Mate Fins made everything so much fun for kids of all ages, while keeping the them engaged throughout. Captain Blimey was friendly and accommodating. The experience far surpassed our expectations and we are hoping to make this an annual event.

This was EXCELLENT! From the beginning check-in process to the pirate adventure every detail was clearly well-thought out and practiced. The crew, Pirates Fin and Calypso, and Captain Blimey led an awesome ocean adventure looking for treasure holding the kid’s attention the whole time. Games, activities, music—it was all done so well in an organized and super creative way. Thank you for a great morning with our family and being so great with the kids! If you’re looking for a fun thing to do with your kids I highly recommend Pirate Adventures of Cortez. AMAZING JOB!!

I don’t typically post reviews, but these pirates deserve it. This was such a fun adventure and my 4y/o and 8 y/o were completely engaged the entire time. There was even an older child on the ship that acted “too cool” for this and ended up being super excited about it half way through. Bring water and sunscreen as the kids are in the sun the entire time, but the time goes quickly and it’s over before you know it! I highly recommend this and wish I had more cash on me for a bigger tip. They deserved way more than I had on me. If you’re in the area, take the time to do this tour. They are amazing at what they do.
