This is a wonderful restaurant. The interior is very clean and the staff are very friendly. We had the original sandwich and croquette. The sandwich was crispy bread with slightly salty ham, mustard and pickles. It was very filling, and the photo shows only half of it. Two of us shared it. It was very reasonably priced. The croquette was also excellent, crispy on the outside and creamy inside.

Amazing Cuban food. Man working was very nice about explaining how to order. Tamale was delicious, they put pork and a crispy piece of pork skin on top.

I am from South carolina and I visit my mom every year and this place is the highlight of my trip everytime! Best cuban food I've ever had especially the cuban sandwich 😋 You CANNOT go wrong with this place! They are always the sweetest and the atmosphere is great! I can't wait for my next visit!

Perhaps we were unlucky. The service should be better. We were in this restaurant for the first time. Accordingly, we had some questions. There was a woman standing at the counter. She walked forward and backward, did something. Instead of normally giving us time and take the order. We had to ask the same questions several times. By the time we placed our order, our impression was already spoiled.
There were no comments about the dishes. It was delicious.

You’d be hard pressed to find more bang for your buck in st Pete. This place gives great food and portions at a great price. When my wife and I are on the road we live finding places like this. Authentic food for a great price is just the ticket when you’re traveling and this place delivers. I got the stewed chicken with rice and red beans and it was amazing.

This place is amazing. I’ve been coming here for 3 years and every time it’s been outstanding. The pork wrap is to die for. Every single meat option is so tender and awesome. Palomilla steak is my personal favorite. You can eat all of it and not get a single piece of chewy fat which is my least favorite part. I honestly don’t think there is a meal that isn’t good. They have many options for everyone. Deviled crab is also super delicious. I highly recommend this place, you won’t be disappointed.

I have eaten Cuban paninis all over the US. This is not the BEST Cuban panini, while I understand that term BEST of anything isn’t regulated and anyone can claim it. In fact I make better Cuban at home with my husband’s leftover smoked pork. The issue is ratios and flavor. Way too much mustard - it over powers everything else and is so messy it gushes out. No mojo flavor on the pork or bun, no flavor to the pork at all really. Just generally flavorless overall, aside from mustard flavor. The papa rellenos had the blandest mash and very little meat, the empanada was ok.

This restaurant has a cleanliness issue though. Everything in the back and hot bar is so messy. The manager came from the kitchen picking his teeth with a toothpick through the food prep area and all around the hot bar then immediately took our order touching stuff up front. Almost every table was dirty in the dinning area and needed busing. We had to request a table cleaned for us, the manager saw the dirty tables and still no one came out front to clean. At first sight of all this we thought of walking out and in hindsight we should have.

Don’t believe the YouTubers on this one. It’s bland and dirty, they must have gotten free food to review it or have no taste buds.
