very accessible, pull over at the curve in the road and it’s a 3 minute walk to the small cliff area that has the petroglyphs. very easy to find, not sure how other reviewers found it difficult.

Agree with the other reviews that this is difficult to find. I'm sure the church does it on purpose so you find Jesus before you find these petroglyphs. But it's really worth the 2 minute walk from the pulloff on the highway. It's at the end of the path on the left. If you make a hard left turn to go up the paved walkway, you've gone too far. You will see a cross on the other side of the petrogly mountain in this case. It's definitely creepy, especially with the "way of the cross" and "labyrinth" church displays, but you don't have to see them, the petroglyphs are a really quick and easy walk from the parking lot if you just stop at the end of that path when it opens up to the petroglyph rock hill.

A small display of ancient rock art but impressive none the less for being protected by Tucson as it borders the Saguaro Nat. Park boundary. This is the easiest access of any petroglyph panel in the country. Its only a hundred feet from the blacktop of Picture Rocks Rd.

Picture Rock Petroglyphs are very easy to get to… don’t overthink some of the reviews below. There are no signs but Google Maps and Google Earth identify exactly where they are (see turnout picture I included) and it’s also where we parked.

From the parking area turnout the petroglyphs are a short, easy 10 minute walk. Well worth the visit to see these 1,200-1,500 year old Indian designs. Suggestion: Go in the morning before noon as the afternoon sun makes it more difficult to see the petroglyphs. Enjoy these unique ancient designs .

This was very difficult to find. We kept passing the small turn off. Not sure if the GPS was off or me. Finally found them though nestled between some church thing and some other Jesus Cross memorial-very cheesy and ruined the overall look of the landscape and feeling IMO.

A nice, low desert hiking spot. Bring the right shoes and plenty of water. It's crazy hot n dry in the summer. The petroglyphs are not directly accessible by trail and if you rock hop to them, which you're not supposed to do, you're most likely gonna get snakebit. But you can see them from the trail and the peaks offer excellent views of the valley.
