Lots of trails to walk , run, or ride.
This is an active campground during camping season.
Good facilities, with bathrooms and showers.
Lots of places for day camping with picnic tables and grills.
Very safe with a ranger on site whenever it's officially open.
Keep dogs on leash and you will be fine.

The campground was large and had many bathrooms throughout. The sites are large enough to set up multiple tents, park multiple cars, and have plenty of room to move around. The swimming area has plenty of tables to sit at nearby as well as multiple other picnic areas with grills nearby, separated partially by wooded areas. Hiking paths nearby are enjoyable but that may lead to longer treks than expected, including unbridged water crossing or climbing over downed trees.

Clean facilities, clean drinking water, and HOT water for their showers! Lovely place with more secluded spots or bigger open spaces, depending on what you’re looking for! Been coming here three years in a row now and it’s our go to spot for a easy camping trip:)

A winter visit so no services. Did a 6.2 mile hike that took us into the adjacent Willard Brook SP. I'd like to come back and do some more trails.

Not only are the campsites close, it’s very noisy. In the pictures, I’m sitting at our picnic table under our canopy. The campsite next to us had a party with loud music and friends visiting and their generator running the whole day. You can hear kids yelling and music throughout the campground. Although swimming was allowed, the water was gross. The staff was friendly and the bathrooms were cleaned every day.

The nature was nice, camp was clean. But, the camp sites are right on top of each other. There's no privacy!

Was expecting the camping grounds to atleast have some spaces in between each other so we wouldn't see and hear other people.

We had to leave because of the privacy issue.

Also, the camp grounds are right by the roads which is a nuisance itself.

Attached some pictures to show distances between camp sites.

Spread out the camp sites way more!

Very nice state park! If you are a local hiker I’d definitely give it a go. The trails are nice but seem to not receive regular maintenance.

- Clean camping place and clean washrooms
- Camping places are very close to each other.
- The front office just has firewood and they don’t sell anything else so don’t forget anything.
- There was an ice cream truck that came in evening which was nice.
