Pathfinder Hospitality was the group to oversee the opening of a new Aloft hotel property in South Austin. We had booked the hotel for our wedding room block a year in advanced (especially since it was the same weekend as ACL and we wanted to ensure rooms for our guests well in advance) with anticipated opening of April 2022. Not once were we notified that the hotel opening was delayed - we only found out that the property was still unfinished when we tried to see it in person in August, two months before our wedding weekend. Our original contacts who helped to set up our room block were no longer able to be contacted, and it took two weeks to finally get a response from someone at Pathfinder. They at first assured us that the hotel would be open by October only to inform us a week later that the opening would again be delayed and they would not be able to host our block - one month before our wedding. While someone did offer to help find us a new block, we ultimately had to find our own alternative accommodations for our guests extremely last minute. Not once did anyone confirm we were no longer held liable for our room block agreement or apologized in any way for the lack of communication over this whole situation. What would have happened if we never stopped by the hotel in August and had to find out on the day of our wedding weekend that the hotel was not open? Extremely disappointed by the lack of professionalism from this company.

Their sales managers and teams are EXTREMELY non responsive and don’t honor signed contracts. Avoid any property managed by this group. No response from corporate either on issues I had.
