I have been coming to this park for a while now on Sunday's ! It's my morning routine. My husband and I love walking here because there is barely any people or dogs who walk the pond area early in the mornings. To me this is more of a dog park honestly because they have an area just for dogs, love that they separated the big dogs from the small dogs. There is a lot of benches to sit at, pavilions for shade as well as a playground for the kids. I love that they have the exercise stations for those who want to get a workout in while walking or jogging the pond.
Only thing I had an issue is that the women's restroom doesn't have a trash can for feminine product disposal.

This is a great place to walk, stretch, and exercise. The dog park is the best part, especially since my dog loves it. The park is not too crowded or noisy. It's also easy to get to, in my opinion.

We came for the dog park so that is what my rating is for. The small dog area is a good size but doesn't provide much shade outside of the little gazebos and a couple smaller trees. The large dog area, 35lbs+, is well shaded and curves around the small dog area.

My biggest gripe is no water features. For it to be in Orlando and not have some access to a sprinkler or something of the sort seems a bit odd with the heat and humidity.

Other than that it is a nice park for them to run around. There is a fountain outside of the entrance and some buckets to fill up. Great view, kids playground and a little lake to walk around.

Except for the weekend, the park is never really that crowded. We typically go in the morning & know most of the regulars.

The owners I know are responsible and manage their dogs well. Trouble only starts when an inexperienced owner or shouter arrives.

Come midday if you have a timid dog or one that doesn’t play well. The park is empty and you will have the field to yourself!

The small dog park is also typically empty too. And it’s much larger than the one at Baldwin Park!

However, I think this park was designed by a small dog owner. The main downsides are:

1) Sand EVERYWHERE! They need to add more sod or turf to the large dog area. By contrast, the small dog area has grass & no sand.
2) Small dog area has a nice shaded area & a picnic table. Big dog area has a small bench on top of a sandy dune hill - right near the (poop) trash can
3) Only ONE fountain located outside the gate. Big dog owners have to haul up two water buckets up to the hill, and the water is typically dirty. Little dogs can get to the fountain easily, as it’s right outside their gate
4) The county needs to find an eco- friendly to fumigate - there are little bugs
5) With all that freaking sand, a pet bathing area would be spiffy

As mentioned, this park is a good alternative to the often over-crowded and unruly Baldwin Dog Park. Just know the downsides.

The city of Orlando has done amazing things here in the past few months, especially to the dog park. This was the first time we've been there since March.

(Because of the rain and pandemic (probably more the former, honestly), we were the only ones there so we let our small-in-size-only dog into the big dog side with her cousin.)

The big dog side has added a sidewalk all the way to the brand new covered pailion at the far end. The water fountain has been moved inside the enclosure with a matching one on the small dog side. Theyve added a dog washing station (with a leash hook! ) just outside where the water fountain used to be. Edit (2/12/22): the water pressure at the dog washing station is... lacking.

The water fountain that was halfway between the dog park and the parking lot has been upgraded to include 2 human fountains, a dog fountain, and a bottle filler.

I enjoyed my time at this cute park. There is a path that you can walk around the pond, where you’ll see a lot of birds hanging out. It has a fenced in dog play area. Some of the seating areas have electrical outlets to charge your phone if needed. There is also a public bathroom. I like how the park is fenced in and is blocked off from the busy area.

It is fair to say, and that's a credit for the department of park and recreation of the city that almost every park in the Orlando area deserves a 5-star ratings. This is a small park with a decent walking trail of half mile long, green areas, public restrooms, playground for the littles, grass and parking lot

First time I come to this place and fell in love. Very spacious for your pet to feel free. Very quiet on this site, people are friendly. My dog went crazy when he saw all that huge space to run and play. They have divided two spaces, one for large dogs and one for small ones, which I think is great. I will continue visiting this place, well recommended.
