I went yesterday (6/25/24) and we had a small group of only 5 kayaks including myself on the mangrove tour. It was my first time kayaking and I absolutely loved it! Kenny was our guide and he was awesome!!! He took us through 3 mangroves and explained the history of the mangroves, the sea life that resides there, into the bay to explore other wildlife, and spoke about the history of Sarasota Bay. It was a 2 hour tour and is totally worth every penny. Kenny did a great job giving us enough time to take in everything, took pictures for us, and he was a blast to hang out with. I think he had more fun than us, which made it even more fun! Being a local and having the chance to experience this right in my back yard was so much fun. If you get the chance to go, don't pass it up. Although it was my first time, it won't be my last. Thank you Kenney and Paradise Adventures for an amazing day on the water!!!

Not what we thought it would be! Ordered clear kayaks.. and looking forward to a small group tour to see things under the water.
We were told they did not bring them and our group had at least 20 kayaks in it. Three ladies guiding us. It was so much work to wait for people. We also passed a small group of clear kayaks as we worked so hard to keep up with our huge group. I wouldn’t recommend them ever. They don’t do what they say in there ad. Feel ripped off 💯

We had a great time touring the mangroves. Our guide was Dave and he was great! He shared a lot of interesting information about the area and its history. He was friendly and very helpful and knowledgeable. We would definitely do the tour again.

My daughter & I rented kayaks in August and our tour guide was Orlando. He spent several hours with us exploring the wildlife in the area. We had such a great time kayaking through the Mangrove Tunnels!!! Orlando was a terrific guide and gave us the history of the area where we were kayaking as well as lots of information about the manatees and other wildlife that we came across. He was very knowledgeable and has a great respect for the wildlife. They are such a nice outfit to rent from and a trustworthy company. When we first arrived, they both introduced themselves and shook our hands. Very polite people. They were very helpful with my concerns about being able to kayak. Their instructions were great and I had no trouble at all. We would highly recommend them.

We had an amazing kayak trip with Paradise Adventures! The owners Josh and Orlando know the area so well, they have the best advice on where to go, and are so helpful (lending some of our party sunglasses as they had forgotten theirs). We hired kayaks without a guide, and Josh told us where we were most likely to see manatees. We went out in the morning and got to the spot ahead of anyone else, even the guided groups. We encountered a family of 3 manatees, and although we didn't approach or bother them, they approached us and swam around us for ages! Later we went to another advised manatee spot, and saw 3 more! They even pushed our kayaks around a bit! It was the absolute perfect experience.

I loved my experience kayaking with Paradise Adventures. The staff was very knowledgeable and helpful. They offered drinks and waterproof pouches to protect our phones. They even gave us a map so we would not get lost. Explaining all the best spots to see wild life and information on where we could stop and get out of the kayak to go for a swim. The kayak itself was so comfortable and easy to use. We spent almost four hours out on the water and the time flew by! I would highly recommend Paradise Adventures not only because I had a great time, and will go again, but also because of their amazing customer service!

Great tour! The mangroves were tricky but so cool. Chris was the best and even told us about an amazing sunset spot on a secluded beach at the top of Longboat Key for after our tour. Highly recommend.

Very fun and knowledgeable tour! I am a very novice kayaker and Kelly the guide was excellent and giving lessons and explaining safety. He was very patient and caring. Unfortunately, due to the recent storm, we weren’t able to see any manatees or dolphins, but we did get to interact with the local seabirds and Kelly made that very entertaining. Take bug spray!
