Wim and Mieke were incredible hosts. It was evident their hospitality stemmed from authentic kindness. My husband and I felt very welcomed our entire stay. Breakfast was delicious! They take such great care with every detail of the B&B experience: food quality, the beautiful china in the dining area, the cleanliness of the rooms. I recommend this B&B wholeheartedly to anyone looking for a peaceful and unique lodging experience.

I would highly recommend the Palmetto Riverside Bed and Breakfast. The accommodations are first class. Both the rooms and food were beyond our expectations. But the best reason to come is that the host and hostess make you feel special. We have been here several times and plan to continue in the future. I should add that I live in Sun City Center and it is only a half hour away right down U.S. 41.

My husband and I stayed 4 nights at Palmetto Riverside B&B. Conveniently located and very professionally run. Wim and Mieke were the most gracious and wonderful hosts I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. They went out of their way to make sure our needs were met during our stay. This historical home is beautifully decorated, incredibly clean, with beutiful views. Gourmet breakfast each morning in the sunroom looking out to the Manatee River was exquisite and fit for royalty. Looks like it would be the perfect wedding venue. Would highly recommend to all to experience this wonderful hidden gem. I look forward to visiting again in the near future.

We just hosted our daughter's wedding here last Saturday and If I could give 10 stars, I absolutely would. The venue is quite possibly the most beautiful venue on the Suncoast of Florida. Everything was perfect with our ceremony and the proprietors, Wim and Mieke, were incredible to work with and they operate their business with an unprecedented level of professionalism while tending to our every need. I happily recommend this venue to any and all interested parties.

The BEST owners, venue, accommodations, EVERYTHING. We had our wedding here and it was my dream come true. From the most amazing breakfast spread, to the hospitality, ownership and everything in between. Wim and Mieke are the most incredible hosts and we cannot thank them enough for allowing us to have our wedding here. From questions leading up to our event to assisting our vendors the day of they are hands on and wonderful to work with. If I could do it all over again I would change nothing. We got married at Palmetto Riverside BNB in November of this year. It was absolutely magical and everything we could have ever imagined. The owners of the BNB make the entire experience such a lovely one- they are amazing people, so kind, and so accommodating. Oh goodness, where do I even start with this amazing venue?! My husband and I have shared many special moments here from anniversary date nights, to finding out the gender of our baby girl over a delicious meal, to most recently staying overnight and having our baby shower here! I don’t have the right words to express how amazing Whim and Mieke are. Not only are they so easy and enjoyable to work with, but it’s incredibly evident that they absolutely love what they do and will go the extra mile to make sure that your experience is memorable and unique. The grounds are gorgeous and I cannot speak highly enough of the food. The breakfast we had the next morning after staying the night was one that I dream of, and each time we go for dinner we are beyond satisfied! I’d highly, highly recommend Palmetto Riverside Bed & Breakfast for any event and date night!
