My parents went through these people for their 33rd wedding anniversary. They have not traveled a lot so had no idea what they were getting into with this company. They were told they had paid for 3 nights and 4 days by the man that runs this travel agency. Trusting the guy and doing as he said, and what they thought they paid for, they flew out. During the trip they endured fees that they were never informed about. Then, to make matters worst, when they went to fly back, they missed their flight by an entire day! Granted, yes, they should have looked and not trusted the travel agent, but when you think you are getting what you paid for from a "trusted" company, you assume it is as requested. They found out that the travel agent had booked them for 2 nights. So they endured over $500 extra just in plane tickets to try to get home, 6 hour layover in one state and NO APOLOGY from this company. I am sorry, but if you have been in business for so long, it most certainly is NOT because of your customer service skills. I DO understand, the correct thing to do is read your itinerary before leaving, but the reason people HIRE travel agencies is to avoid all of this confusion and have the entire trip recapped and explained as to what will happen. Which you said on the phone afterward that you did but you IN FACT, did not. The way you spoke to my father and blatantly lied to him is not right. They worked very hard for their money to take this trip and it ended up costing them a small fortune. This is unfortunate and could have been handled so much better, but after hearing the discussion that took place after they got back and knowing how this company handled it, makes me sick.
