I use Outside Agents as my host agency for my travel business. They are fair, they respond to emails, questions, and / or concerns quickly, offer great training and seminars. I feel they truly want you to succeed. If you're looking for a host agency, look at what Outside Agents has to offer before you choose.

I chose OA as my host agency because they promised to support new agents. However, my experience with one of their preferred suppliers was quite disappointing. On my first booking, there were significant issues; the supplier claimed that OA had incorrectly set up my account, which resulted in pricing that was 50% higher than expected. When I contacted OA, their response was unhelpful; they simply denied any error on their part and refused to assist in resolving the problem. This was particularly frustrating since the role of a host agency is to mediate and resolve such supplier issues.

The support team was brief in their communication and showed no willingness to help. They suggested I email Steve, the owner, which I did, but after several days I'm still waiting for a reply. The entire ordeal has been extremely disappointing as this wasn't the only issue I had with their team.

OA is a FANTASTIC host agency. The owners are such good people, and want us all to succeed. There is a lot of training available, top notch support, and of course so many long-term relationships with MANY tour operators and various suppliers. Their CRM is easy to use, and all the staff is very nice and communicates very well.
If you are looking for a new host, I could not recommend OA enough! Highly recommended.

Went to their conference in Feb. Decided that their values did not align with mine. Went the first day and did not go back the second.
My choice and I lost my money. Called today as I just realized my commission from a single supplier was going to them. The guy on the phone was rude and obviously had notes in his computer on me as he told me that I left the class early and ect. As I said before, that was in Feb and I have not reached out to them since then and there are thousands of agents, so how did he know that if there wasn't something written about me in their database. That is creepy and inappropriate. I wouldn't recommend this company if they were the last travel agency on earth.

I switched to outside agents from another host agency which would be considered a MLM. It was a big difference and I was happy. Lots of Training and friendly people.

All companies have pros and cons.

It's our job to do the research and find what works for us personally because not all agencies are the same and requires different obligations. I learned this the hard way.

Unfortunately for some reason I was terminated and not given an explanation and no one would return my call. I am still hurt since I have spent 2 years with them and had to find another agency and basically start all over again.

I could only assume it was because I wasn't making a bookings in a cetain amount of time. As I was working 2 jobs and wasn't always working on growing my business as I should have.

I paid to attend events and traveled to free events to learn. I have put in the time but did not bring in income as I wasn't focused enough on my business.

I love attending all there events and they always have webinars. The relationships you build are truly amazing!

I still would recommend but also warn in advance to make sure you do research and compare.
