We thoroughly enjoyed our kayaking down the verde river. Our guide Blaine was so much fun and very good at explaining to us how to go through the rapids and making sure we all got through okay and got awesome photos of us all. I highly recommend it and would love to do it again!

We had a fantastic time on the kayak tour! Very smooth but about 6-7 rapids so made it fun and interesting. Good for all ages. Highly recommend and Blaine was such an insightful and kind!

We had a great Verde River tour in Cottonwood while we were in Sedona. The kayaks were inflatable and safe and easy to navigate. The rapids were indeed very gentle and easy for pretty much much all experience levels, which was a concern for us. My 9.5 and 12 year old had a blast. They have 1 and 2 seater kayaks, and the guides/instructors were helpful (ours was Blaine)and took some nice pics. I would advise bringing a sunhat and a towel for the ride home as I forgot those. We bought water shoes at the facility that were perfect and had our sunglasses and sunscreen on. Was perfect weather and a great activity for our trip.

I really enjoyed the kayaking, it was my first time, but Blaine did a great job or cheering the two of us in the group as we went from easy relaxing parts of the river, and through the rapids. It was great that he was ready to take pictures of us as we made our way down the river, so no need to worry about bringing a camera/phone. I am 6'5 and the boats had plenty of legroom, and the wetsuits fit and did their job (it was mid-December 2024). I would recommend this experience to anyone, who is interested in river kayaking, and wants to have a fun adventure.

We had the best time on our kayak tour with OAC! Walt and Chris were excellent guides who made sure we had fun and also helped us stay safe on the water. We will definitely come back to do this again!

Walt and Tyler were great guides on our kayak tour. The weather was unusually cold, so they offered their wetsuits for us to use complimentary. Walt is a wealth of knowledge and has a great eye for noticing nature along the way. There were some fun rapids along the river that we weren’t expecting so it definitely added to the fun of the trip. Walt and Tyler also take photos along the way to make the trip memorable. Thank you for a great day out!

I was so happy I finally checked this off my bucket list, I’ve put it off three years and WOW!
I’m returning next week, for more fun! Our guide Blaine gave us a great education on the native wildlife, plants and history of the area, in addition to being a great guy with a super fun, professional character! My Review update- my third adventure in 2 1/2 weeks! Another wonderful day on the river! Blaine is a fun guide! Thanks again!!! See you soon!
