My friend and I were looking for a getaway and brought along her daughter and my granddaughter. Upon arrival, the owner was welcoming and very helpful, sharing great tips on the local area and the property. The property features a charming little farm with a mini cow, pig, ducks, and chickens, and we even collected fresh eggs! The cabin was clean and spacious, providing plenty of room for all of us. We had a great time unwinding by the campfire after a long day of crystal mining and swimming in the river. I would definitely return! Thank you!

I took my 10 and 5 yr old grandsons for 5 nights. They had a ball! They fished, swam, explored, and mined crystals down the road. We stayed in the bunkhouse which was perfect for us. We will tent camp next time. The spots are beautiful!
Casey and Amanda are great! Casey came with the torch to get our fire going. Also gave us great tips where to swim and mine the gems. If you love the outdoors, this is the place to stay!

My family and I have an amazing time camping at the Oauchita River Haven!! The staff was so nice and accommodating. Their property is beyond beautiful. They offer fishing, tent camping, cabins, boat rentals, fire wood, volleyball ball and a host of other different amenities! We had the perfect unplugged weekend. They even offer WiFi if needed. We will definitely return.

Great place, obviously well cared for. When we came in there had been rain and the road in was muddy so there were guys spreading hay to help make sure no one got stuck. Only saw a handful of mosquitoes the whole 4 days we were there which was crazy because I’m a mosquito magnet. The river was awesome, a little swift though so be careful. THEY HAVE FLUSH TOILETS AND SHOWERS!! I’m used to places having not much better than a bug infested hole in the ground, so bless yall for that. You might encounter a random chicken, or the camp dog who was sweet and polite and a very good boy. I’d definitely stay here again.
I’m only giving you 4/5 on the location because y’all are a good half hour from civilization and a whole hour from just about anything we were wanting to do.

Great location and staff. The four mile float was a little shorter than I would have liked ~ about 3 hours ~ when we came since the water was at about 3.8ft but that's my fault for not choosing a longer float! It was a perfect stretch of the river for my 14 year old to get some experience piloting her own canoe. We will be back for a longer float soon!

We rented kayaks for the day. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Our family of four enjoyed our day on the river. When we come back to the area in the future will consider staying on site. Definitely recommend!

We stayed the weekend in the Rose cabin and had a great time! Nice quiet setting. Has a hot tub in the cabin. Firewood available and kayaks were so fun!
