This was a beautiful park. We hiked 4 miles and saw deer and really neat rocks. The trail was well marked and had great views. The ranger station was nice and had cool souvenirs.

Definitely a nice place to visit and spend time. If quiet and peaceful are what you’re looking for, this is it! Lots of trails, camp grounds, and refreshing creeks to swim in. Close enough to the DFW area to make a quick weekend getaway out of it. Has the same feeling as the Broken Bow, Oklahoma area, without the crowds and higher accommodation prices. Definitely worth checking out.

Did some dispersed camping while passing through Arkansas. Pretty views and super peaceful. No cell service while in the mountains.

Almost perfect! Signage could definitely be improved. Some of the trails were not marked. Some were marked but the signs were small. Some of the places were hard to understand if I was allowed to drive my Jeep there instead of just a smaller ATV.

The Ouachita mountains are my favorite! They are my go to place for regrouping and regrouping myself. These mountains have saved my sanity numerous times! A truly beautiful and magical place that I've been running to for over 20 years! Love love love!!

The scenery that God has provided is spectacular! The Vistas and pull offs need to be marked better. We missed several.

Last time, I went for a photoshoot, but I gave up because it was hard to know where to go from the other entrance ? This time, I went from the back entrance
The forest road is narrow, so be careful not to get fall.
About half of the trees ? are dead ?
Looking forward to another photoshoot here ?
