Amazing Tour of Ketchikan!! Today Rick picked our group of 7 up at the cruise terminal at 7:15am for a private tour of the island. Rick is a local and shared much information with us about the area, the animals, the climate, this island and nearby islands, and tribes in the area. We were the first visitors to a road side spot where black bears frequent, and we had seen two different black bears within about 20 minutes! We saw too many bald eagles to count. We saw waterfalls, hiked some trails at a couple of recreational sites, and learned SO MUCH! Afterwards, he returned our group right to our cruise ship! The Odyssey elite was clean and comfortable. He had umbrellas and bottled water for us. Rick was so nice and had so much to offer our tour group. We have previously done a two week cruise tour of Alaska and this is by far our favorite excursion we have done yet!
