Our Ireland trip planned through Old Sod was fantastic! The hotels were wonderful and all in great areas, with walking distance to restaurants, entertainment and shopping.
The driver and vehicle they arranged for us were top notch as well. Our driver had our best interest in mind and gave us some great information along the way.

Old Sod Travel did a wonderful job of helping us plan our trip to Ireland. Their team came up with a wonderful selection of hotels, places to see , and recommendations where to eat. They help arrange the Train travel tickets, group tours, private tours, and walking tours on the various cities we visited. They were very prompt and helpful whenever we need to reach out to them. Simply AMAZING trip to Scotland and Ireland. Julie from Old Sod Travel helped us plan an unforgettable adventure and she kept in touch all along the way, making sure every detail surpassed our expectations. From setting up drivers to arranging meals and accommodations to arranging private tours and excursions. We saw all the sites and took in a Guiness tour, a couple of whiskey tours, and a Falconry experience that we'll remember forever. We had transport to and from our hotels as well as airports. All of our excursions were led by local guides who knew the areas and history. We had some truly local experiences that most folks don't get to see. We will definitely be recommending Old Sod Travel and Julie to anyone who desires a wonderful trip. We would never have had the itinerary and experience we did had we tried to go it alone. Lori Sherwin of Old Sod Travel did an excellent job planning our trip to Scotland and England. The drivers and guides they work with are friendly, knowledgeable and great conversationalists. Th trip had many facets and so we were able to enjoy the beauty of the Scottish Highlands with driver Andras, the history of golf at St. Andrews as well as the literary history of England with a visit to Shakespeare's home (every day every one of us uses one of his phrases - unbelievable!) and the WWII history of London and the MIdlands. Our tour of Oxford was also wonderful and nice to re-visit where I did a summer study. Our guide/driver for the Midlands/Cotswolds was Ian Rutherford who made history come alive after we were already excited about our visit to the Churchill War Rooms in London with an incredible visit to Bletchley Park where Enigma was decoded. This was the most incredible place central to the Allies winning the war. There was so much more but Lori planned an incredible trip.
