Nice little place. Good hot food selection for lunch, no dinner. Don't believe what it says on google, this place closes at 7:00 not 9:00.

I just realized what "Old School Truck Stop" actually means. I thought it was like the euphemism but this place is actually built in an old school.

So me and my dad stopped here yesterday and the experience was absolutely amazing. The parking lot definitely wasn't the best but they honestly made up for it inside the store. You don't find places like this anywhere out here. The fried chicken was absolutely amazing as was the service and the prices. I hope this place stays around for many many years too come! Also I almost forgot...I bought a Mr. Pibb cause I never drink soda and it's my favorite. I get back too my vehicle and I noticed the taste was off a little so I look at the date and notice it says it expired last month on the 15th lol I didn't care I still finished it but just telling y'all that your Mr. Pibb is expired lol

Cozy little mom & pop truckstop. Employees were all so friendly and personable. The fried chicken was good and so was the rice & gravy and collards. I see the comments about the dirt parking lot. This is a mom & pop out in the middle of nowhere...be thankful!! These are the best truckstops. Patronize them often to keep them in business.

Cattle Bridge Creek Homestead has a freezer where they sell processed meat. Ive personally tried the ground beef and it was delicious. Hardly any fat in it and unlike other ground beef loaded with preservatives this isn’t. Doesn’t “run” through you like others either. $6/lb tax is included. Try it out. They have other meat like bacon, rump roast, etc. You won’t be disappointed!

If I could rate the stop and the parking lot separately I would. The stop is an adorable little place, the woman working there when I went in was very sweet, and a huge helping of grits, some fried chicken, a biscuit and two sodas only set me back 11 dollars. Truck stop gets a 4.5/5 from me.
The lot gets one star. Dirt and gravel lot, barely any parking thanks to all the rusted out old logging trailers left there, would not recommend in the rain. On a clear day, or if you're just stopping by, give this place a visit.

I like 'old school' stops better that Loves or Pilot. I have stopped at this stop many times, and yes, they need to get the dumped trailers out and make more parking. Drivers use this place as their personal parking lot with no consideration for OTR drivers. Also, looking at the locations, many in Alabama are not even listed. There are several in Selma, several in Hope Hull, and along US 80 that are not listed as many more on small highways not shown.

Place is awesome. Very clean, restrooms included. Originally came here because I read about their chicken spaghetti. The lady, manager I'm assuming, apologized because they only sell it on a certain day. Then suggested the lasagna, which came with a side and we got two meals and two drinks for 10.58. The green beans and potatoes we're delicious and had bacon. The lasagna was huge. Neither myself or my boyfriend could finish it. Even the cornbread was awesome. Will definitely be coming back again. Super friendly service and awesome prices for sure.
