Quiet little place on top of a hill filled with bluebonnets. Great place for a picnic and pictures with the family. Thankfully the location has clean bathrooms, as well as picnic tables and swings for the kiddos. We visited during Spring Break in March and there were about 6 families there but there was plenty of room for everyone.

Nice field with historical college buildings and beautiful wildflowers in this early season. There is a play ground for kids to play, picnic tables for outdoor events and meals! I just hope that I knew this place 20 years ago!

Went in mid March to check the wildflower situation. There were a lot of Bluebonnets between the 4 remaining stone columns in the park and the old log cabin and other ruins.

This is one of the smallest state parks in Texas. There is no charge to enter, several picnic tables so one can always have a snack or lunch. There are public restrooms, I believe they are locked up at night.

The black and white images were with my infrared converted camera with a 720 nm filter.

A very beautiful place, lots of historical homes with their stories... The only thing that bother me was I went on a Sunday and the bathrooms were locked but other than that it's a beautiful place.

Massive old oak trees casting shade upon the site of Baylor Female College. Nice picnic tables also shaded makes for a cool way to enjoy the beautiful area filled with history.
