The chopped beef brisket was good. I think it was chopped up a little too much personally but it was still good. The price for a drink, sandwich and one side is $25 each person. I think that is really to high. The place had a old feel to it like your in the country. The played old country music so that was a plus

When I moved to Texas 4 years ago. I sincerely thought I'd be eating entirely more put BBQ than I have. So I was super excited to find this place and finally eat they way I had hoped to in Texas.
Meat had super flavor and the smoked turkey not at all dry. Tender smokey and oh so juicy

We went in because the parking lot was packed. It was very expensive, the beer was expired by 2 months. Everything was sold separately, including pickles, onions, sauce. It was about $20 per person. The BBQ chopped c
Beef sandwhich was not pulled it looked like it was run thru a blender. The BBQ was sweet.

My first time here and I’m not even sure what my excuse for not visiting was. This place is so great!! Everyone that works here seems friendly. The beef was not overly salty nor overly smoky. It reminds me of old fashioned Texas bbq, from south Texas where I grew up. The service was a little slow but it seems they cut the meats to perfection, for each slice. I had no idea id be waiting 20 minutes for my food but it was totally worth it.

I sample the wagyu and angus briskets. The wagyu as I understand it is only available on Sundays and they close at 3 pm on Sunday. I might be wrong but I made sure to go on a Sunday to get the Wagyu for comparison.

Both were excellent. I did like the Wagyu better but not by much. The sauces really complimented the meat here, and I’m impressed with the sauce selection. I make my own sauce too at home, and one of these sauces were just like mine, exactly how I like it (the tomato-y sauce). I could drink that stuff if it was warmed up. Again, reminds me of my family’s bbq from years ago.

The sausage was a masterpiece. Very well done and somewhat lean and meaty. I had jalapeño sausage but couldn’t really tell it was jalapeño. But it was very good! Especially with the pickled onions and pickles.

I saw those mega beef ribs everyone was ordering and I must say those were bigger than my head. If you like beef ribs this is the place for you. They also had a lager beer they brewed in collaboration with Real Ale, and since I was headed there, I tried it and it was awesome. I love local stuff like that!

Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my lunch here in Blanco, just stopping by town. I’d definitely recommend this place to family (I already have), and I’d recommend to friends so they don’t miss out either!

Thanks y’all, and keep up the great work.

We were recommended by a friend to try this place out. The time we went was during Market Days on a Saturday afternoon. It was packed and very hot outside. They had seating outdoors and indoors. We spent about $55.00 dollars on brisket sandwiches, sides and drinks. The sandwich seemed like it was missing something. But sides very good and dessert amazing!

This is what a Texas BBQ place is like. Wagyu or Angus briskit options. Jalapeño sausage was great. Deviled eggs are good. Great BBQ style restaurant atmosphere. Hard to beat this place for best BBQ spot in Texas.

Very good BBQ. Crowd pleaser for adults and children alike.

Dino bone (beef rib) is a hit. The same for the pork spare ribs.

Fried okra, cream corn, and mac'n'cheese are staple sides.

We will be back.

Food was delicious. The flavor was on spot, and most importantly, it was hot and steamy. The restaurant atmosphere seems country original. Service was fine. You order at the counter and they serve your food at your table. The restaurant was full with customers who seemed to be enjoying their meal. We are definitely coming back as soon as we can.
