I love this Visitor Center before going on a hike or coming back down the mountains. The older gentleman who staffs the Center is very friendly and knowledgeable. The Center is always clean and the displays are very interesting. It is by far one of the best Visitor Centers that I have ever been to.

The Notch Visitor Center is a nice pit stop with bathrooms and picnic tables for before or after your hike up a mountain. The sights around it are incredible, which includes the view from the top if Mount Norwottuck. It's definitely worth adventuring out to and exploring the nearby trails.

This is a great place to park for hiking. We arrived at the parking lot around 12 o'clock in the afternoon and there was still a spot open for us but I imagine it can fill up very quickly. We did not go inside the visitor center but this has great access to all the trails.

Great trails, helpful staff. Bring a map if it's your first visit. Main trail was closed, we were directed to walk along the road - bad idea, lots of fast traffic, not safe.

Great place to park to hike either west or East on the New England/M&M trail. Maps attached show both ways. (Purple = white blazes on color coded map.) Many great loops along the ridge. Our favorite is dropping down to lithia and back up and over the ridge.
