Our family had an absolutely amazing experience at North Texas Safari Park! We’ve been to drive-through safaris before while traveling out of state, but we wanted something closer to home. Coming from the Frisco area, we found this gem online and were thrilled to see they offered animal encounters—which took our visit to the next level!

We did both the lemur encounter and the sloth encounter, and let me tell you each one was an unforgettable experience. Interacting up close with these incredible animals was beyond anything we expected. To top it off, we even got to see their brand-new baby kangaroo, which completely made our day!

One thing that stood out to me was how clean and well-maintained the park was. Unlike some other animal parks, there was no overwhelming odor, which was a pleasant surprise. Another huge perk was their unlimited feed option it was nice not having to constantly buy refills every time we ran out of food for the animals.

To make the experience even better, we had the pleasure of meeting the owner at the entrance, and he couldn’t have been more welcoming. He took the time to chat with our family, and his passion for the park and the animals was clear.

If you’re looking for a fun, interactive, and family-friendly animal adventure in North Texas, we highly recommend North Texas Safari Park. We’ll definitely be back!

When we first got there, we thought $25 per adult and $20 per kid was a little steep. However, after driving through the safari, we parked and got to feed the animals. Let me tell you, it was worth every dollar. You get unlimited feed for the animals, get to interact with the animals, and for an additional charge, you can feed the lemars, sloths, and giraffes. It's at your own pace, and we had such a great time spending time with all the awesome animals here. The staff is exceptional as well. We will definitely be back.

We had a wonderful time visiting the North Texas Safari Park. Our family did the VIP tour and couldn’t have had a better experience. The lemurs were so fun! We were in their habits, got to feed them and they climbed on us to get snacks. We also got to go in with the kangaroos, sloths and the petting zoo! The drive thru was so funny with the ostriches! Our guide was so knowledgeable and patient with our family group. I highly recommend this experience!

to bring the kids and grandkids! Have never been so close to a giraffe. Amazing experience. Thorougly enjoyed the Kangaroo walk around.
You even got to pet one. Don’t miss seeing the sloths! Both drive thru zoo and petting zoo. Free refills of animal feed in Petting area. Very knowledgeable and friendly staff.

This was my birthday present to myself and we just loved it. The staff were all so welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable. We paid extra to play with the Lemurs and it was worth every penny!! All the habitats were very clean too. My heart is overflowing.

My husband and I stopped at this location during our road trip. And we were very pleased! The upkeep of the property is nice and clean. There’s a small drive through safari area but this location is mainly a walking safari. You can pet and feed the animals.
When we first arrived we were under the impression this was a full drive through safari. But we were greeted by Terry and Terry’s vibe and energy is what made us stay! Both Terry and Brandy are doing a wonderful job with this park. If I’m back down with my kids we’ll be sure to stop again.

We absolutely loved this park! It was our first time to go, and we're so glad we went. It has a small drive-through area and a somewhat bigger walk-through area. The walk-through area has plural things to do, including feeding some of the animals, and it was a great experience for our family. We will definitely go again and although it was a two hour drive for us one way, it was worth the happy adventure.
