Basically a whole Alameda County Fair, packed into this tight space. Parking is hella skimpy because it was only made for a half-sized-high-school & Ohlone extension, so be prepared to find a spot further away and walk. It's pretty much just carnival rides, other carnival attractions, and decent number of food tents that are different from the Fremont Festival of the Arts.

For the rides, you need to get tickets at a ticket booth, then spend the tickets to go on the rides.

Newark celebrated its 65th annual community parade and fair this weekend in the park! It had several activities and displays: vintage car show, music stage, arts and crafts tables and tents, carnival snacks, ethnic foods, clown with balloons and bubbles, petting booth, carnival amusement rides. There was also a morning parade with car floats and organizations and businesses participating. Parking lots were really full and some required permits, so neighbors walked to the area instead. This is definitely a great community event to enjoy with family, friends, and neighbors. Bring cash if you want to buy food or items and go on rides.
