I'm not sure if we just got lucky, but on-street parking was easy. The front desk staff was friendly, and the other staff in the museum were helpful but not overbearing.

I was expecting to see a lot more whaling info related to New Bedford ... My narrow mind didn't consider the fact that whaling was international. That said, there's a lot of history and interesting artifacts. I really enjoyed the visit. We spent about 3 hours in that seemed sufficient.

Great museum at New Bedford. I can see big whales bone in this museum and boats. From the window, I can see streets of central New Bedford.

Most Interesting historical lyrics. A look at common life in New Bedford. Not so common, is it. Lots of cash...lots of commerce. Great experience. An older gentleman spent SOME time discussing New Bedford history. I'll be back soon. Thank you.

We had been curious about this for a long time but had no idea what to expect. Well, we loved it! Great if you're interested in local history and whales. We really enjoyed ourselves. It's a great way to spend a cold or rainy day and get out of the house and do something different.

My kid climbed through the heart, all over the ship, and asked to go through the jelly fish room a few times. Navigating a stroller was a little tricky at times but I found the ramps!

Very quiet museum, lots of text displays on the history of whaling. Our favorite part was meeting historic whaling wives Ruth and Abby on the front lawn and listening to their stories!
