Just had a really awkward experience at the branch and Navy Federal doesn't have a direct complaint line so leaving a review instead.

I had pulled up to this branch at 8:59 AM. I park on the side of the building, get out of the car, walk up and realize they open at 9:00. So instead of walking back to the car I just stand there, less than a minute to wait, no big deal.

As soon as the door opens I am greeted by a woman who opens up complaining how cold it is and how crazy I am to be standing outside in it. Mind you it's been all of 23 seconds, it's 50 degrees, and I'm wearing a jacket. I'm fine but whatever I chuckle it off and walk in.

But goodness this woman COULD NOT let it go. It was so incredibly awkward. From the moment I walked in... not even that... BEFORE I even walked in the door to when I was walking out she would not shut up about how crazy I was. It was VERY hard for her to move on from this. It was so bad she started praising multiple random customers who walked in the door, obnoxiously stating how smart they were to wait in their cars, insinuating I was somehow stupid to dare 50 degree weather dressed appropriately. So I feel uncomfortable, these new customers who came in behind me feel uncomfortable... it's like lady please read the room for goodness sake.

I would've given it 1 star but I've been to this location several times and EVERYONE is always so nice and friendly. This is just one weird experience that makes me dread having to go back there and listen to some lady complain nonstop about my existence.

I have had issues with my local postman, so I didn't get my card as it was returned because it was destroyed in transit. I didn't want to wait for a new card, so I drove the forty miles down to Allen which I'm glad I did.

I got Michelle to assist me with a new card. It didn't take but a few minutes to complete the process; furthermore, Michelle was able to update my account to reflex benefits I was unaware I qualified for.

The building, while on the smaller side, was kept in a pristine state. I have been banking with Navy Federal for twenty years now (ugh...where has the time gone?), and with the standards I experienced, I don't see myself changing banks anytime soon. Thank you for pleasant experience.

The bank has made handling an estate a nightmare. We may be changing banks because of the lack of disclosure in the process. The teller didn’t inform me of all things needed so I went to try and correct the matter then get an account made to actually handle the estate check and no one there was nice to work with.

In the end I had to handle this matter at another bank.

I normally do my banking with Navy Federal at their The Colony location which I have dealt with uncaring unprofessional employees.

I have recently moved to Frisco and went into the Allen location for the first time on today. Completely a breath of fresh air compared to the Colony location. I had the pleasure of being assisted by Flor. I found her to be highly kind and professional. She had a vast knowledge of theproduct and services and made me feel valued and appreciated. Nicely done!✔️ Flor! All of my Navy Federal banking will be done at this location because of you and your wonderful customer service! 😉😊

Stopped in this afternoon for notary service and Kayla promptly greeted us with a friendly smile and eagerly notarized our documents with no waiting. She was professional, helpful, and fast. Every time I visit this location, I’m never disappointed and the service is always 5 star.
