Beautiful place!! However, terrible personnel working the area especially someone named Alvina. We were kicked out of the park very rudely because we had a mini van with 12 passengers who were all family. She very rudely and disrespectfully yelled at us saying we were in the wrong and how we cannot bring a mini van inside. No one at the welcome center or the fee booth told us that our van was inappropriate and in addition, there were no rules (written or verbally given) that mini van is not allowed. We left the area immediately as we respected her call as she is the person in authority but this is absolutely unjust and utterly disrespectful.

If you think you’re going to get a friendly welcome to the welcome center, you’ll be disappointed!!! We stopped in to get some information on the area to plan a future vacation there. The lady behind the desk was not helpful at all and just rude. So much so that we’re planning to go elsewhere. We didn’t even stay to go through the valley. She definitely had a chip on her shoulder. Wish I’d read the reviews before driving all the way there. Sad!!
