My husband and I went on the morning guided kayaking Mangroves tour with Neil. It was fantastic. Neil was friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful. There were 4 of us total in the group, the other 2 were a mom and her daughter. We all had some kayaking experience but Neil made sure we were all comfortable with the kayaks and reviewed use of the paddles.
We were no sooner on the water and we were greeted by a dolphin and many ducks. The ducks were our trusted companions throughout the trip. Apparently they like the shadow the kayaks provide and help them catch their breakfast.
Then it was off to explore the Mangroves. Something we have never experienced and was so primitively beautiful.
It was a wonderful way to spend the morning. Neil was so knowledgeable about the area.
We appreciated that he let us set the pace so that we all were at our own comfort levels.
Definitely recommend. Well worth it.

Booked online. Arrived at the meeting point. Called twice and emailed before getting a call back at 9:35 that I shouldn’t have been able to book due to conditions.

Conditions look great.

I understand canceling if there’s not enough folks to do a class but do it in advance so people don’t waste the time and money traveling to a random spot on the side of the road, only to be stood up.

Neil was an excellent, knowledgeable and funny guide on our kayaking tour! He was very accommodating and worked with us through the changing tides and helped us see as much as we could. Just a warning, he is from Ohio and will make fun of you if you’re from Michigan. Despite the fact that he’s from Ohio, he is a fantastic person and guide and I would highly recommend booking with him for a memorable adventure!!

Neil, our guide, was fantastic!!👍 We booked a 2-hour kayak ride with him on Memorial Day weekend. The traffic getting over to the launch site was awful so plan ahead. There is free parking along the road and even on Memorial Day weekend we were able to find a spot.

Once we arrived, Neil showed us our kayaks and handed us a water proof phone case we could borrow.

He went through a couple of safety things and then helped us get out onto the water. When we were on our way, he was very knowledgeable about the wildlife and the geography.

It was a pleasure going on his tour! It was fun, relaxing, and enjoyable. I would highly recommend this tour!

A couple of things to remember to bring along:
1) sunscreen!!
2) a small cooler with something to drink.
3) a snack that doesn't melt.

Our tour was supposed to last 2 hours but Neil asked us if we wanted to go longer and we spent the majority of the afternoon out on the water. I really can't thank him enough for taking this extra time with us!

Beautiful day of kayaking to Shell Key Reserve. Calm waters, great sunshine and Neil was a great guide. Good conversation, nice comfortable kayaks and pace. Totally enjoyed the 2-3 hr tour learning about the area, history, Neil showing us various wildlife, shells and highlight of paddling through the mangroves. Thank you for a beautiful afternoon. We hope to be back or encourage anyone to book with this company.

We were able to easily schedule a 2-3 hour kayaking trip. Neil was our personal guide around Shell Key Preserve, sharing his vast knowledge of the area. What a beautiful place and outstanding guide. We saw dolphins, were able to paddle on passages through the mangroves, and explore Shell Key island. If you want to kayak in St. Pete, this is the service to use!

We had such an amazing time with Jason! He’s extremely knowledgeable and made sure we had a great time. It’s a great way to see FL from the water and get a private tour of the mangroves and the gulf wildlife. We experienced everything FL during our kayak trip. Highly recommend!
