Today Josh took us on an amazing trip on his boat. We saw lots of wildlife and collected amazing shells. Josh is a very nice guy and it was fun to talk to him and learn so many things about the Everglades and Ten Thousand Islands and it's Wildlife. His boat was very comfortable with nice chairs and shade. Not only did we see dolphins, they even swam up to the boat an had fun jumping in the wake.

If you do only one thing during your visit to the Everglades do the Eco Boat Tour with Josh. Seeing so much wildlife up close, listening to the funny stories & astounding facts and exploring one of the 10.000 islands made this the best experience we had in 3 weeks of traveling through Florida. Now go book a tour - you will not regret it!

This tour takes place from Everglades City which is closest to the Gulf Coast Everglades National Park Visitor Center, about 45 minutes from Naples, FL. Josh, our guide, is a biologist with a love of nature. He has taken people from National Geographic and the Discovery Channel out on tours for filming & photography purposes. He easily identified all flora & fauna we encountered on the tour, was knowledgeable about local history, native groups who lived in the Everglades, and has worked on research projects tracking FL panthers & other species w/local government/university entities. We thoroughly enjoyed our almost 4 hr trip w/an island stop where we were lucky enough to find Calusa pottery shards, beautiful shells/conchs, and horseshoe crabs. Local dolphin enjoyed playing in the boat's wake, and we saw may species of birds on the trip. It was a very enjoyable trip!

Josh is an absolutely wonderful guide. He is a literal living encyclopedia of local knowledge with a great sense of humor. Of course the highlight of the trip were the dolphins. I smiled so hard my face hurt 💙🐬Josh's tour was hands down my favorite part of my visit to the Everglades. I really appreciated his extra time answering my myriad of tourist questions at the end of the tour.

I wish I could give Josh more stars. My family had such a wonderful time on the eco boat tour. Josh is very educated on the area and animals in the environment, we had such a great time learning from him. Josh truly cares about all aspects of the Everglades and Ten Thousand Islands ecosystems. The boat was comfortable and fun. Josh provided snacks and water for us. He made sure everyone was having a good time including our two children and continued to keep them engaged.

We take our winter visitors out with Josh every season. The Dolfins know his boat and what a show they put on for the Kids! Josh grew up here and this is his back yard. He loves to share his stories and local history.

Absolutely outstanding tour from beginning to end! Captain Josh, a native with deep insider knowledge of the area, was incredibly knowledgeable about the wildlife and ecosystems we toured. We saw a sea turtle, many varieties of birds, and multiple dolphins. Captain Josh is a dolphin whisperer who has a knack for finding dolphins and engaging with them in a playful, eco-conscious way. Highly recommend this tour for any Everglades explorers. It was truly the gem of our trip.
