Donating to this place should not be this difficult considering people are in need of furniture. The run around to get a date scheduled for pickup seemed off but then to be told they couldn’t find the furniture left outside at my front door on the day of pickup is wrong. I have cameras and no truck even showed up. Do better.

They open at 2 and I got through at 2:35 after not being able to the other several times starting at 2. They informed me they were closed for the day after already meeting their quota. We lost everything recently and have really only had beds donated by others thankfully. When I mentioned needing living room furniture (which we have none of and have been sitting on the floor) they said things which move you to the top of their list include no furniture at all and children needing things (our daughter is thankfully covered after other's generosity). She said we could try again Thursday but no guarantees we'd get through or get picked for help. Not sure how anyone really receives things from here but I won't be recommending them to anyone.

I hate giving a bad review considering it’s a donation place which I think is a wonderful idea.

I called last week wanting to donate a couch and was told to send a picture and send my name and location and I did so. I asked if I could get it picked up and was told that I wouldn’t be able to get it picked up until a certain date in my location and I said that was fine. Then a week comes and I get no response so I call again asking if they’ve received my message and the person on the phone says yes but “we have had just so many photos to go through” she then goes on to say I have a cat and there’s tuffs. I’ve never had a cat firstly and secondly there’s nothing wrong on it no pulls or tears at all. They then say oh well the evaluators could turn you down when picking it up so I wouldn’t want to do that to you. I just said let’s leave that to them to decide because photos can be weird sometimes. And then gave me a different date that’s another two weeks out and when I said I couldn’t they said tomorrow or nothing besides that much later date.

I had to give up on it. I’ll be trying a different donation place. I don’t appreciate the hassle for just trying to donate.

Trying to get someone on the phone is horrible. Calling at the time lap given and no one answers or the call drops . How is anyone suppose to get help if we can’t visit the location and getting through the phone seems impossible…
