Stopped in for breakfast on my way back to Arizona on a solo motorcycle ride. First time in the Arkansas and usually ate at the hotels free breakfasts but wanted a change. I left early from Hot Springs and saw the Mt. Ida Cafe and pulled in. What a treat and delight this place turned out to be. A big slab of great tasting ham steak with hot coffee attentively refilled. What more can a traveler ask for? I highly recommend stopping by.

Very nice local cafe in a very small Arkansas town. We had the pleasure of eating here after viewing the total eclipse which went right over Mt Ida. Food was delicious and economical. Service was extraordinary.

I’m not sure where they get the breakfast sausage from but, my lord! That was the absolute BEST sausage I have ever had. The food was amazing!

Great little diner. Hole in the wall that looks real food that's really good. I had the bacon cheese burger and it was top notch, cooked perfectly. Definitely worth a stop.

Our party had the western omelette, scrambled and over easy eggs, sausage and bacon. The food that we had was fair to good but the coffee was some of the worst I've ever had. The decor is a poor man's Cracker Barrel style with antique farm equipment stuck to the walls... including the very dark and cramped bathrooms. The saving grace is the service. Our waitress was very friendly and helpful and the food was delivered quite quickly.
