My husband and I got married 8/10/24 at Mountain Star and it was truly the most amazing experience. The owners, coordinator, and entire Mountain Star team were awesome to work with. Their attention to detail and kindness made our entire weekend so perfect. We chose to have our entire wedding party stay at the property for three nights and it was so worth it. Having the ability to stay directly at the venue with our closest friends was awesome and made our wedding weekend even more special. All of our friends said it was like a mini vacation and we were just so happy to have everyone there together. The venue itself is gorgeous and maintained so well. To this day our guests are still raving about how perfect and well put together everything was, which is all credited to the Mountain Star team. We HIGHLY recommend this venue to any couple looking to have the most amazing wedding in the most amazing place.

My husband and I had our dream wedding at Mountain Star Estate on September 14, 2024. The owners Sharon and Travis, and the venue manager Adrian are absolutely amazing to work with- professional, personable, and FUN! They made us and our friends and family feel so welcomed and helped to streamline everything throughout our 3 night stay on the property so that it was stress free and perfect. It’s hard to find the words to explain how unbelievably beautiful the whole property is, from the incredible Farmhouse that sleeps 35, to the adorable honeymoon cottage, to the gorgeous ceremony site to the stunning barn- there isn’t anything more I could’ve asked for. There was so much flexibility to make our weekend exactly what we wanted which included relaxed family time on the farmhouse porch, hiking, swimming, ATV rides on the local trails, a giant cookout for our rehearsal dinner, dance parties in the newly renovated bachelor pad bar space, and of course our epic wedding. I couldn’t recommend this venue any more- it completely exceeded our expectations. We hope that all of our friends get married here too just so we can go back! ❤️

I spent FOREVER trying to find just the right venue for our wedding but the search was over as soon as we found Mountain Star Estate. The moment we visited and saw the site in person and met Sharon (one of the owners) and Adrian (the venue manager and Day-of-Coordinator), we didn’t want to look any further.
The Venue - Not only is the setting amazing but the venue itself is absolutely one of a kind. The barn, ceremony site, bridal suite, and farmhouse are all uniquely beautiful. The vibe is natural, rustic, and elegant, and I was able to easily bring our vision to life without having to add a lot of extras because the space was already beautiful on its own. The farmhouse is so beautiful and charming and it makes a fantastic setting for the bridal party to gather for the weekend. The fact that we could comfortably have our family with us for the whole weekend and no one had to travel between lodging, ceremony site, and reception site was so special and it considerably cut down on stress and costs. There are also numerous other lodging options very close by for the rest of your guests, so no one has to travel far. The separate bridal suite was also a huge decision-making factor for me since I could have my own beautiful and calming space (with romantic views looking up to the barn) and not have to be in the hustle and bustle of the farmhouse if I needed a moment away. It was also a fantastic space for getting ready the morning of the wedding.
The People – Perhaps the biggest selling point for Mountain Star Estate is the people you end up working with. Sharon and Travis are both super friendly, excited, welcoming, and helpful. Adrian, the venue manager is also available to hire as a day-of-coordinator and she was an ENORMOUS help. She was able to guide us through all our decisions and help us with the planning and execution. She’s also an absolute delight to work with, knows all the nitty gritty details, and is just a super lovely person. Sharon and Adrian also had THE BEST suggestions for vendors. We chose to use people that they loved working with and they were all phenomenal (we used The Good Food Store, Celebration Corporation, and Riverside Greenhouse).
The Location – Rangeley is BEAUTIFUL! There are so many things to do in a relatively small area, the people were exceptionally nice, and the food was delicious! We stayed for a week after the wedding with a lot of our family and a quick search through Rangeley’s Chamber of Commerce site gave us a jam-packed itinerary of hikes, shopping, waterfalls, adventure sports, and dining. It was a truly special vacation experience to cap off our amazing wedding weekend.
The Value - When I first looked at this venue I was concerned about our budget, but after doing the research I discovered that there is so much value at Mountain Star Estate that it was going to be a much smarter choice than other comparable venues I had looked at. Mountain Star has its own beautiful tables (that don’t require linens), linen-style paper napkins, dishes and silverware, and gorgeous chairs so you don’t have to spend extra money on rentals. The barn is already so characterful and tasteful that you can keep your decorations fairly minimal and it will still be lovely. They have a beautiful permanent arbor at the ceremony site so no extra cost needed there. The site is completely private and everything is in one spot so you don’t have to worry about transportation (unless you want a shuttle for those staying off site).
Choosing Mountain Star Estate was the best thing we could have done. Our big day was beautiful, the people we worked with were wonderful, and our guests raved about the whole experience. It was utterly special and beautiful, and we wish we could do it all over again!

My husband and I were lucky enough to get married at Mountain Star Estate on 9/7/2024. We will be talking about this weekend for the rest of our lives. Sharon +Travis (owners) and Adrian (venue manager + coordinator) made our wedding day/weekend so special, peaceful, and fun. Everything went so smoothly and we did not have to worry about a single thing. They were all so kind, personable, and professional. All of our guests have been since complimenting the beauty of the venue and the kindness of staff.

It was so special to have our family and wedding party stay the weekend in the farmhouse. It truly is gorgeous, and feels so homey. Our wedding parties were able to get ready separately in the farmhouse due to its unique layout. The honeymoon suite is something out of a magazine - so charming and romantic.

Having the lodging, ceremony, and reception all in one location makes Mountain Stare Estate so special. They also provide the tables, cutlery, plates, chairs, glasses and so much more. This took a lot of stress away, not having to search for expensive rentals.

We would chose Mountain Star Estate over and over again and highly recommend !!! ❤️

A Dreamy Affair at Mountain Star Estate

From the moment we first saw Mountain Star Estate, we knew we had found our perfect wedding venue. While we had envisioned an outdoor ceremony overlooking Rangeley Lake, Mother Nature had other plans. Despite the unexpected torrential rain, our wedding day was nothing short of magical thanks to Sharon, Adrian, and the incredible staff at Mountain Star Estate.

Their seamless transition of our outdoor ceremony and cocktail hour to completely indoors was truly impressive. Every detail, from the floral arrangements to the table settings, was executed flawlessly. The indoor space was transformed into a breathtaking and intimate setting that exceeded our expectations.

The staff's professionalism and dedication were unparalleled. They went above and beyond to ensure that every aspect of our wedding ran smoothly, allowing us to relax and enjoy our special day.

Our guests raved about the venue's beauty, elegance, and the overall experience; many not even knowing that we were supposed to be outside because the inside transition worked so seamlessly.

Mountain Star Estate truly made our wedding day a dream come true, even with the unexpected weather. We cannot recommend this venue highly enough!

We had our wedding here July 2023 and it couldn’t have turned out more perfect! The setting itself is stunning with the lake, mountains, barn and farmhouse. Aside from the breathtaking exerting the team at Mountain Star brought our vision to life.

Sharon and Adrian met with me to talk through my vision, flow of the day, and so many important details that I never would have thought of. They were extremely accommodating, informative, and my my day completely stress free.

After the wedding I had so many friends and family reaching out expressing how incredible of a weekend it was and one of the best weddings they had ever been to at that. This is thanks to the team and setting here at Mountain Star. If you’re debating having you’re wedding here - just say yes!

My husband and I got married here on September 9th and it was by far more magical and perfect than I ever dreamed. The staff was SOO helpful and they are such easy people to talk to. They take all of your thoughts, and visions and help make them become a reality. They are willing to go above and beyond to make the day go smoothly. Adrian is a HUGE asset and does a lot behind the scenes to make everything go off without a hitch. And you can tell that Sharon and her husband love owning this business and being part of peoples special days. They were great! We loved that we were there for the weekend and all of our friends and family could be on site for the weekend with no worries. We could just relax have a great time and enjoy the moments of a busy weekend. I have zero complaints.
