We visited on warm fall day. We parked at the bottom and hiked the short, but steep path to the top. The observation building at the top has restrooms and two levels for viewing the beautiful landscape below. You can see Mount Tom and the Mount Holyoke range and the Connecticut River.

Love the gentle yet intense (is that even possible?) hike up this paved road. The view is the best payoff!

Nice little loop of trails up here, nothing majorly strenuous nor a particularly long hike regardless of your direction of travel going up to the top, but pretty solid scenery!! It is a little steep regardless of which side you go up, but depending on your ability level, it's really not a bad trek at all, only a little over 2 miles, and the summit is about 900 ish feet... but the views for such a short mountain are pretty great! 😎👌 plus on this particular trip there was some snow to lay in and roll around in, along with some great sticks to pick up and chew on along the way!! 😅🐶👍🐶👍😅

One of the best views of the Connecticut river valley in the area! There is a hiking trail that goes around the mountain. There is a tower on top of the mountain. You can get really great pictures from. Also a auto road that’s open for travel on seasonal travel. The auto trail in parking area to the top of the summit has a fee. You can download the Yodel app to pay the fee.

Pretty easy hike to do with my 5 kids (ages 4-11). Bathrooms available up top. Picnic areas. Beautiful views. There are even a few geocaches along the way! Great place to check out if you love the outdoors!

Great short hike! Beautiful views. Good place for a picnic, picnic tables at the top. Cool tower and viewing. Public bathrooms and water at the top- possibly closed due to COVID. Easy parking in paved lot. Lots of different surrounding trails or an easy paved road up for stroller access. Really well maintained. Lots of chipmunk roadkill so drive slowly 🙁
