The Motel 6 app indicated that all rooms had a refrigerator. We rented a king smoking room Which was clean and it did smell clean, but there was no refrigerator and no microwave. Also did not see a microwave in the lobby area that could be used to heat food up. The hallway was kind of dirty, looked like it hadn’t been vacuumed in quite some time. There were only three pillows on the bed. I went down to ask if we could get an extra pillow, and I was told that they didn’t offer that there. It’s the very first time I’ve ever stayed in any kind of hotel or motel where they refuse to give an extra pillow if one was requested my husband and I travel a lot and we’ve stayed in a lot of places and from what I’ve seen Motel 6 is consistent with one thing and that is disappointment. We likely will not stay at this location again and this could possibly be the last time that we even attempt to stay at a motel 6 since it’s been consistently bad the last several times we’ve stayed at one. The lobby in the outside area looked a bit rundown could definitely use some updating. There was also someone whose car happened to be parked under our window that every time they would go out to get in it, they would set off the alarm or push the panic button. I’m not really sure which but this one on probably once an hour for the first four or five hours, we were there quite annoying.

I arrived at the hotel- the women that checked me in was friendly. They staff was friendly. The location is ok. There are places to eat around there but you do have to drive. Newly renovated inside and out. It is very comfortable. The room was clean and smelled fresh. The price was great.

I stayed 3 nights at Motel 6 in Lansing IL and was very impressed with the service I received from the front desk clerk Sharon and her staff. She gave me some great recommendations for the restaurants nearby and that really helped me enjoy my trip. I look forward to staying there again on my next visit to Chicago!

Love Ms Sharon and the housekeeper that works the 1st floor. Never got her name but they were very helpful and always respectful The Mexican lady that comes in at 3 is not it. We left our number with front desk in case our kids(dogs) Pooh and Shiesty got loose. July 3rd they got out and she called the police and told the officers they were aggressive and attacking ppl. Lansing police collared my dog from each side with yard poles. Shiesty gave up, laid down, and submitted and the police decided to shoot him anyways. She never once tried to call us, no call to animal control, or the humane society. They justed decided to shoot him because he was pitbull. They claim he was aggressive when I know better. We didn't bring him up to be vicious. They shoot him in the head and dragged him behind the garbage like he was trash. Then she told the owner that water was thrown in her face. Shiesty was killed, Pooh was taken to the police station and then they told us we had to leave. She doesn't do nothing but sit up in that chair all day. She won't help with nothing and she's an alcoholic. Let me include the last stay I had here, after paying for my room the Mexican lady used her key to open my door to tell me I didn't pay. Had to remind her I did and she had put my payment towards somebody else's room. This situation with my son could've be handled a lot better, from the Mexican lady and LANSING POLICE!!!!!!!

Love the people some maids can be super nosy but all around good clean place place is still nice and quiet however mycurrent stay could be 5x better my room had no water pressure in the sink ṭh the water would not get cold and it's the middle of winter pay between 90and 95$ a day had no TV for about days and the internet is still out rooms don't have microwaves it's not like they offer complimentary breakfast or any compensation o yea let's not 4get they electronic system went down so I couldn't pay with card couldn't pay with card and the ATM is out so here to run around trying to find a ATM like I said staff was fine I blame the owner for not taking care of what needed to be taken care of

The lobby and hall smelled like strong weed. The room had a funny scent. Cigarette holes was in the cover. Didn’t feel safe in my room at all. I will not be returning. It’s my first time staying at a Motel 6. I ended up leaving and getting a room at a different location.
