I can say that my stay at Moffett House was like bringing the comfort of my own house to Ptown. The bedroom was small and cozy, with a double bed and shared bathroom. I appreciated having four pillows just for myself. The bedroom had an air conditioner and a fan. The check-in and check-out were easy. The weather was sunny all weekend. The temperature was warm in the mid to upper 60s during the day, with cool nights in the mid to upper 50s. I highly recommend Moffett House and will consider it for my next trip.

Moffett House is a great affordable option if you want to be in the heart of PTown. we were there in mid August when the house was full of guests yet it was very quiet, and sharing a bathroom was never a problem for us. Our bedroom was clean and comfortable and we appreciated the small fridge/freezer and sink in the room, as well as use of the full kitchen downstairs available for use. The manager, Leo, was extremely friendly and accommodating. The only concern I had was that the one day we wanted to go bike riding only one bicycle was available. So I suggest if that’s important to you, reserve your free bikes as soon as you arrive (you get to keep the same bike for youre entire stay).

It was so clean - I was very impressed. And quiet at night even though it's right on Commercial St. It is set back from the street. Free continental breakfast(more than just pastries) and free use of their bikes. I stayed mid-week in July and had a room with shared bath which was not a problem. The room had TV, free wifi, ac, and a ceiling fan, They also have a computer in the shared room and also an impressive kitchen though I ate out. An area to sit outside in the shade of a large tree. And a small fridge in room. So fun to step outside of the House and be in the center of it all. Close to the wharf too. The house was easy to get to by car from Rte 6. They gave good directions. Very nice hosts.

Was coming midweek to see a friend perform in Ptown. Was going to stay at one of the places on the outskirts of town until a room opened up at Moffett House. I booked a full bedded room with a loft. Sounded cute. I got a text from the owner, Russ, letting me know they had upgraded my room to a queen bedded room. Nice!||||When I arrived, the staff was quick and lovely checking me in. I was shown to my room which was charming and spacious. I was told this used to be the original owner’s art studio. From the full wall of windows, I could see why. The light in the daytime was lovely and the room had a homey feeling. There was even a lovely little journal where guests could leave an entry about their trip, and also read other guests entries. It was a cute touch.||||The shared bathroom was clean and I never had to wait for it. Since they it was only shared with a couple other rooms, we barely even saw each other. ||||From Russ’s pre-checkin in texts from with directions and friendliness, to the staff and house, to the fact you are mere feet off Commercial street, yet feel like you are miles away in a garden, the entire experience was lovely.||||If shared bathrooms aren’t your thing, a couple rooms do have private bathrooms. So there is something for everyone at Moffett House.||||Oh! And they also offer a nice free continental breakfast as well as free use of their bikes! I’ve had to rent them before and bike shops there charge around $40 a day, so that was a nice perk most places don’t offer.||||Check out Moffett House next time you are in Ptown. I’ve already booked a return trip in September!||||Thanks again, Russ for a lovely experience!

Craig is an excellent host. The house is very well located and in good condition. Craig had ready tea, coffee, juice and fruits at 8am for the guests. Bikes can be borrow for free and the National Seashore is close and great to explore with bikes. Moffett house has an agreement with a close parking lot and the price is reasonable. We would definitely go back.

I've just returned home from a well needed and earned 4 day,3 night stay at The Moffet House in PTown after 4 years. So glad I did! This was my 4th time at MH. I'd forgotten the charm, the ambiance and warm welcome. But it soon came back when reacquainted with Luciano and the others. Each time I've stayed in a different room and each have their own uniqueness about them. Each time I've stayed I've always chosen a without its private bath...which for me works very well...if the inside shower is in I'll simply step out to outside shower...morning noon or night...under a start sky or a mid afternoon rain shower! This house is extremely well maintained as well as being located where once you e parked your car, you need not use it again. If you want step out of town venturing out to explore the dunes...they've got you covered there as well...bikes are available as well and included in the room fee. This place is even close enough to get in a midnight, or 2AM dip in the ocean! Thank you Russ & staff for making yrt another relaxing and memorable stay!

If you want a quiet spot in the middle of Provincetown, but you can't do the pricey home rentals, this is absolutely perfect. Russ is a kind, gracious host, everything is clean, and your room has AC, a fridge and Roku. The communal kitchen has all you need and there's always a thermos of coffee for you at almost any time of day. The smaller rooms don't have their own bathroom or shower so if avoiding the communal one means a lot to you, try and get one of the larger rooms that include a private bathroom for a few more dollars. ||||You are completely shielded from the crowds and noise of Commercial street. It's hard to believe that you only have to walk a few feet and wham! You're out smack in the middle of the action. A great bargain all in all!

The Moffett House is a great base from which to explore and enjoy Provincetown. Located smack-dab in the center of town, the guesthouse offers bikes to explore the beaches. I suggest room 3: although it has a shared bath, there is a skylight and a ceiling fan, which are perfect for the cool P-town evenings.
