Moenkopi outfitted us for a 15 day trip down the ditch. Service and communication was excellent. Dave had so much patience with our crew in advising us on gear loadout and answering questions both over a video call and when we arrived in flagstaff making last minute changes. If you’re looking for an outfitter for your trip look no further, Moe is the ticket. If we ever get lucky enough to go back I will certainly be using them again.

First time down the Grand Canyon with a ragtag group and we used Moe for our gear rentals. Violet showed up ahead of schedule with an incredible attitude and got us all organized quickly, efficiently, and safely. We motored over to Lee’s ferry where she guided our motley crew in rigging the boats, dealt with a minor emergency, and taught us everything we needed to know about our boats and gear — all with encouragement and positivity. What I loved about Violet’s style was that she made it clear that this was our trip and she was here to teach us anything that we wanted to know. In a few short hours, I felt comfortable understanding our 18 foot rafts, rigging, kitchen set up, cleaning requirements, and knot tying.
We had a really amazing first nine days!
For a few, the trip ended in a heli evac, unfortunately. On the tail end of this, Dave was super helpful in coordinating pick up of vehicles and was kind enough to drop off two cars to help the folks that were getting medical attention. Dave went above and beyond to support us with information and kindness as we figured out how to wrap up.
Overall, the people at Moe really make this gear rental incredible. Their knowledge, friendliness and support are above and beyond.

I have used MOE (Moenkopi Riverworks) for self-guided rafting trips in the Grand Canyon in 2016, 2019 and 2024 and they have always delivered!

I highly recommend renting the RiverHOUSE before and after the rafting trip as well as getting the door to door package. The logistics, equipment and expertise that MOE provides allows for a high caliber experience that would be extremely challenging to pull off without them.

MOEs staff communicates well, is friendly, knowledgeable and flexible. They have their system dialed in which is crucial for getting 16 people down the river safely and happily for two to three weeks.

Just completed 25 days on the river. For me probably a once in a lifetime experience. We elected to go for the door-to-door option with Moenkopi and had zero regrets. From the beginning the staff at Moenkopi were there for us, ready to answer questions or make suggestions or tweak what was or was not included to meet with our needs.

Cole and Greg were our shuttle drivers both going to and returning from the river. Very helpful and knowledgeable.

Kudos too to Richard who somehow was able to organize food for 8 of us for 25 days. The variety and amount of food was truly amazing, from turkey dinner with all the trimmings to barbecued salmon, riverside lunches, cooked breakfasts and wonderful snacks, including a never-ending bag of snack bars of many different varieties.

We had all of the gear we needed and never seemed to want for anything.

We used Moenkopi for a (self created) logistically challenging trip. We were a self support trip all traveling from far away, and our launch was Christmas Day. Andrew and the Moenkopi staff did so much to help make this trip a reality for us, they helped with problem solving and using their connections to the wonderful folks at vermillion cliff lodge to make our trip a reality! I couldn't recommend them enough, they were on top of it and always following up and making sure we were all on the same page, which was so relieving when planning this trip. We borrowed a ton of self support kayaks from them with no issues, they even were able to throw in last minute gear that was lost in our travels. A huge thank you to Andrew and Dave (and Moenkopi folks) for all their help!

Moenkopi is awesome and Andrew is legit, he is super dialed when it comes to preparing you for launch. Overall the experience was great! The boats were good, they destroyed all of the rapids. The boats come organized. My one minor complaint here is that some things are just a little bit old. I ripped a boat handle off while trying to move one for adjusting tides one morning, and some of the newer boats did not have handles at all, which made them hard to move with the fluctuating tides.

The food was amazing! They did a great job! However, they could make some improvements in some areas. Our trip had a lot of condiments that were not used and went to waste. Simpler meals would have been nice, but as I was not on the organizing crew, our trip leader was probably to blame for this.

My biggest complaint comes from the shuttle. Dave was super cool about this, but my vehicle arrived without my key fob. They mailed it to me in a letter envelop, a key fob, through USPS. Of course it showed up missing, just an empty envelop. Dave did mail me a check for it, which was super nice of him and he was great about the whole thing. But this was pretty inconvenient for me.

Overall, I would recommend Moenkopi on your GC river trip. The put in and take out experience was great, and like I said, Andrew is the bees knees.

I used Moenkopi for an October trip and couldn't be more pleased with the service I received. This was my first time down the Grand and have never planned a trip with as many moving parts before. We did the full door-to-door, boat rentals, shuttles, food and everything they do. Their help took away the stress and made things easy for me. We really just showed up and got on the river. They were very accommodating with special requests and food restrictions. Also, there payment system was easy to use and all of the information they provide on their website is extremely useful.

Our group had an amazing experience with Moenkopi. The food menu was excellent and we ate like kings. All the rented gear worked great. The shuttle home arrived on time and breaking down the rafts was quick and simple.
