Absolutely incredible tour of Scotland! Every detail was perfect! The whole family agrees- this was the best vacation we have ever taken! Merry J has done two trips for us; Rome/Venice and Tuscany/Florence. I highly recommend her services. In both instances, she drew up itineraries based on our stated interests. For each city, she also provided a list of recommended restaurants to choose from. These lists included everything from pizzerias to Michelin starred restaurants. You simply pick the ones that you like. When we travelled, the trips were loaded into an App so that everything was at our fingertips. When traveling, we always had her contact information, but we also had local contacts in Italy that could assist with any issues or concerns. We always found our drivers and guides to be professional, courteous, and timely. On both trips, we did cooking classes; both were quite memorable. We are planning a third trip to Italy and will once again be reaching out to Merry J and her team. Merry J and her team also communicate very effectively, so nothing is left to the imagination. Would give them 10 stars if I could.

Markham Travel advised and organized my family’s trip to Edinburgh, London and Oxford. Their recommendations were provided to me as a list of choices. I found their top recommendations were excellent. I can’t imagine making better choices on my own. Hotels, guided tours, train tickets, restaurants and private drivers when needed were all high quality. They provide detailed and simplified itineraries, vouchers and relevant telephone numbers. MMarkham Travel has now given us 3 amazing trips, the most recent one to Costa Rica. We booked somewhat last minute during a busy season and she was still able to get us amazing tours and great places to stay. Her group arranged for us to stay at The Springs in Arenal and W in Conchal. While The Springs was a very nice hotel, it wasn't our favorite location - a bit dated and felt like we were nickel-and-dimed for various activities, the actual hot springs on their property were divine. We loved the W. Our tours (zip-lining, hanging bridges, rafting, cooking class, catamaran trip) were expertly guided with English-speaking guides who made our trips both fun/adventurous as well as safe.
On our return, our transportation back to the airport had mechanical problems, but the group had given a big enough buffer AND had a secondary transport arranged and at our door quickly. We made it to the airport and still had plenty of time to spare!
When we got home, we told MMarkham about our less than stellar feelings about The Springs and very quickly had excellent response and know that this will help them know our preferences for our future travels with their group.
We can't wait to book our next adventure with them!

Can't say enough wonderful things about my experience with MMarkham Travel! This is the third time we have booked travel through this company. The most recent was a quick trip to New York just for me and my son to focus on seeing live music and shows. Found us the perfect hotel location in New York literally across the street from Central Park. We could walk to everything we wanted to do! Great suggestions for filling out our itinerary and helping with transportation arrangements. Ready to start planning our next trip!!
