Visited Sunday 9/29. We enoyed visiting with the park ranger who checked us into our Beech Point campsite. She went out way to make sure that we understood the full range of exhibits and activities that the park had to offer. She was the best!

So beautiful and serene. Highly recommend for a quiet get away. Easy to reserve, affordable and well maintained. Trails close by and being right on the water was perfect

Wonderful park with a great interpretation center (great for kids)!!! The workers were so kind and the place was clean and well-kept. We spent the day hiking around the trail. There are tons of places to picnic and the camping spaces look nice. This would be a great place to spend a day or a weekend in nice weather. The trail has lots of great tree interpretation; it was nice to be able to walk through and learn about the trees in the area. The trail is easy but there are some stairs but they are navigable.

What a wonderful visitor center and helpful staff here. Imagine being surrounded by the serenity of water and serenaded by bullfrogs and having impeccable private comfort stations (we were at Beech Point). Such a beautiful and peaceful overnight spot. Would definitely return to spend time to fish and explore.

We've stayed at both Bear Creek and Storm Creek campgrounds. It's hard to tell which one we like the most. Everyone is super friendly and helpful. Reservation and check in is a breeze. At Storm Creek, they will even deliver firewood to your site. They grounds are kept very clean. I joked with the maintenance lady that she kept the campground too clean. There were no down limbs for me to use. My wife and I will continue to go to this park as a go to for a quick relaxing weekend.

Its a state park and a national forest. Kinda cool. Not sure if this is the case, but the state park seems to be divided into 2 parks. Both of which are on different small lakes. Seems like a lot to do here for just about every outdoor type. The Crowley's Ridge Parkway is an absolutely gorgeous drive from what little bit we drove. Lots of wildlife. Stopped at Crowley's Ridge Overlook and the Horn Fire Tower. Cant go up the tower, but still a neat stop for a quick picture. Will be back to drive the Parkway if nothing else.

My favorite of the 45 state parks in Arkansas I’ve visited. Great visitor center. Excellent water access. Wonderfully rural in places. One issue: I wish the reservation process was a little clearer about how far from the visitor center the campsites are. Overall, a great spot.

This was a trip that started in Ashille NC , went to Florida then onto Oklahoma where my brother and I were installing Corporate signs for a Co. Out of California. It lasted 2 weeks. We rode over 4000 miles and it ended back in Ashville. It was to be our last trip together. He passed a little later from a brain aneurysm, he will always be in my heart.
