Great value offering basic studio apartments through direct or air bnb. Rooms are basic and simple but do include a full kitchen with a washer and dryer too. Dog Friendly! Although they had no grass area for them to do their business. They had us go to a vacant lot that had dead grass and lots of trash. No one picked up after their pets in that lot either, if you know what I mean. I'm not sure what they will do if that gets developed. Staff was friendly. We paid extra for a corner balcony room, but it faced a building under construction. If you leaned around the corner, you could see Central Ave, Pool, and Tropicana Field. The location was good for that area of Central Ave, and there is a nice liquor store for those who may have interest. The pool was the #1 feature. Not busy, 4 loungers in the pool too. There is a small area to buy snacks and drinks off a kiosk.

The Mint House is everything you need to make you feel home on vacation. To start, the staff is outstanding! Always greeting us and our dog with a smile and a quick conversation. The pool and patio area is beautiful.
The interior is just as pictured. The full functioning kitchenette provides an option to prepare meals.
Louis, the valet, is hilarious, kind, and always smiling. He is a super star!
Our time spent at the mint was a week, but we wanted to stay longer. Everything is in walking distance. You have your pick of restaurants, breweries, and cocktail venues.
Thanks Mint House for a great escape from the cold. 😊

We had a great time at the Mint House. The room was very nice and clean. Joseph at the valet is very hard working! He was super friendly and helpful to us. He even explain the door system to us, which obviously isn’t part of his job. ||The hotel is in a great location as well. It was a quick walk to everything we wanted to do.

Been staying at the Mint House for over 2 months now due to being displaced from Hurricane Helene. The mint house has been our home away from home. We love this place so much, we have decided to sell our suburban neighborhood house and move permanently to DTSP. We have easily transitioned from our 2200 sf home to the 430 sf Mint House. Due to losing everything in the storm, the Mint house has been instrumental in us being able to keep our lives together. The fully stocked studio with washer and dryer, dishes, and full-size refrigerator make it feel more like an apartment than a hotel.|I can’t say enough about the location. We are within walking distance to wonderful coffee shops, restaurants, and downtown nightlife. We don’t even drive our car anymore on the weekends. And on top of all of these things, the staff at the Mint house have been absolutely amazing. They text us or deliver all of our Amazon packages directly to our door. They provide treats for our dog every time we walk by. They keep all of the grounds looking amazing and clean. One of the best parts of our day has been our morning greeting from Louis, the front door valet. He always has a witty joke and a smile on his face. thank you to everybody at The Mint House for literally changing our lives. Have a wonderful holidays.

The staff was wonderful ! Especially the valet Louis Simpson. He went out of his way to make sure my car was ready when I needed it. He was so friendly and helpful.||I stayed here after my home was flooded and everyone was so nice and helpful. I was here 2 and 1/2 months. Anything that I needed they were right on it and took care of all my request . I would definitely go here again!

The room was near and clean and very comfortable!! Our vallet driver was so funny and friendly it made every moment leaving a laughable one! We love that we had everything in our room from stove to dryer! We always visit st pete and drive home but we will be stopping back again!

Overview |While visiting St Petersburg, FL recently I stayed two weeks with my wife at Mint House Apartments.Firstly I should point out that I’m in a wheelchair and need the help of my wife on occasions. We stayed over the Christmas and New Year Period and this was a holiday for us but we wanted a location to feel like a local apartment not a holiday resort type hotel. This matched our expectations perfectly. | |Apartment|The apartment was most importantly clean and suitable outfitted with utensils and such for our visit. It was bright and well lit in the day and had suitable lamps to give it a cosy feeling in the evening. (I thought one extra corner lamp would have been perfect but that’s a minor detail). We requested a room with disabled bathroom access and was pleased this was achieved to a standard that suited my ability. This consisted of long hand rails on the walls of the bathroom and in the shower area, with a flip out but stable shower stool. The room felt safe and secure and we only requested bed sheet changes a few times which happened properly and quickly. I thought the balcony was basic with a small table and two chairs but with a standard street view and easy access to the city's restaurants and bars, I guess there’s not much reason to sit outside on the balcony.||The front desk staff were all warm, welcoming and helpful, the common areas were always clean and had that fresh just cleaned smell which is always nice. The street level poolside was nice but not outstanding. ||Location is where these apartments really stand out. Sitting in the middle of Downtown St Petersburg, this apartment offers easy access to all of the delightful bars, restaurants and cultural buildings around Central Avenue. It is situated so that it’s easy to walk to the marina area on the waterfront with its fine restaurants and trendy bars or walk to the older grand central district with its coffee shops and small breweries. It’s also the perfect location for a quick drive to St Pete’s beaches. ||Valet Service|So using the services the valet took all the worry out of looking for somewhere to park each day or worry about the car overnight. But most importantly the level of service from the valet staff was top notch, especially Louis, who was there most days. He took care of finding the right spot for me to have access to the car, to help my wife dismantle my wheelchair and pack it away. His friendly jovial manner each morning was a great start to our day and certainly made our visit more enjoyable and memorable. The option to text or pop down to the front desk and request for your car was both quick and the wait was just a few minutes. Looking forward to using their services on our next visit.||Overall we had a fantastic time and I’m looking forward to staying here again in the future.

First off, we were very happy with the room... Clean and modern. Unfortunately, our car was broken into and tampered with while the hotel had it at valet! In addition, fresh white paint was on the walls and there was no sign for a warning. I'm not sure how the management of the Mint House works, but the front desk did not seem helpful...... Something seemed very different about the hotel or how it works. We were also told there would be a gym and spa and restaurant, and there wasn't. But I guess that's on Expedia. We won't be staying here agian.
