This is a small community park in the Millpond neighborhood located on St. Andrews Boulevard in Central Boca Raton. The Millpond community consists of 275 of unique single family homes that were built in the 1970's. The neighborhood is known for its tree lined streets, charming street lights, tranquil ponds, picturesque parks, and quaint cul-de-sacs.

Like many neighborhood parks in Boca Raton, Millpond Park is marked with a sign declaring it for residents only. While it is a lovely park with large shade trees situated on a lake and I enjoyed sitting for a spell in the gazebo and taking in the scenery, there really is no reason for non residents to come out of there way here to visit.

The best part of the park has a large gazebo overlooking the lake where you can see ducks and turtles swimming. The only other amenities in the park is a bench and tennis courts. Millpond Park connects to a paved exercise path which takes you around the neighborhood.

While this park is a nice resource for neighborhood residents, if you live outside the neighborhood I recommend the much larger Patch Reef Park just up the road which has the James A. Rutherford Community Center, Tennis Center, athletics and the Pirates Cove Playground.

Nice little park with a playground beside the larger pond in the Millpond subdivision. The playground has a seesaw, swings, slides, and climbing equipment. Various types of lizards play peekaboo among the hanging roots of the old strangler fig trees providing shade around the playground. Ducks, egrets, ibises, and turtles frequent the pond. There is no restroom nor water fountains, which would be helpful in hot days.
