Miller’s Ferry Campground in was the perfect escape for our mother-daughter camping weekend!
We stayed at site 65, right on the water, and it was everything we hoped for, peaceful, scenic, and incredibly well-kept. The campground host was amazing and made us feel completely safe and welcomed from the moment we arrived. Our site had a grill, picnic table, and the best part, a front-row view of the lake.

We were bracing for ants and mosquitoes based on other reviews, but to our surprise, we didn’t see a single ant, and the mosquitoes only showed up after dark (as expected near water). Once we got the fire pit going, they left us alone completely.
The area was great for walking, relaxing, and just soaking in the peace of nature. We loved watching the boats, fishing, and being completely unplugged from the world. It was the reset we didn’t know we needed. We’ll definitely be back to Miller’s Ferry—it’s a hidden gem!

Nice campsites, lots of shade and many are water front. We even had a pier. There are gators so watch your dogs.
We caught catfish, a couple of different types of bream and a large carp right off of the little pier.

This campground was well maintained and pretty. Almost all the camp sites are on the water, and some have their own pier. It's spread out to several areas, with beautiful oak trees with moss on them, a playground, and a bathhouse. Very southern.

We enjoyed our stay at Miller’s Ferry Campground. The site I booked online was much too far from a restroom/shower but the campground host was friendly and moved us to the campsite we requested. The campsites are spacious and well maintained. The ones on the water have beautiful views and ours even had a dock! There are only 2 restrooms/showers and they are very far away from a lot of the sites. The bathhouse we were close to, however, was kept very clean. The laundry was clean and only costs $1 each. We would give five stars if so many sites weren’t so far from restrooms/showers. We will come back.

We liked the Campground. I guess my complaint is they said we could do wash here for free, which I was looking forward to. I went to do some wash and the dryer was broke. The camp Host said they have been trying for 3 months to get it fixed, why would it take 3 months? He said we could wash our clothes but they would be wet. I wasn't thinking that would be a good idea. The older bathroom is very outdated. Didn't care for the bathroom. They built a new one with toliet and shower combined which is nice. The older bathroom was not pleasant. Our View on sight 32 was on the Lake. We liked the view.

We camped at a beautiful site on the water. Everything was clean and well taken care of. There was a maintenance crew working on repairs here and there. At the entrance was a very large play area with some swings and a slide. At the far end was a new playground and newer bathroom facilities. Not very busy when we arrived but most sites were filled when we departed. It's a "hidden gem" among campsite

Ita a beautiful campground and you can't beat the price. Lots are mostly huge and pretty separated with 50amp and water. The showers are only slightly creepy and laundry is a very reasonable price. BE AWARE OF THE ANTS! We've been fighting them the entire stay. There's not much to do here other than hope to catch a fish and there is a boat ramp. The water is a bit creepy for this Michigander to swim in. It is very clean and folks around are friendly. Give it a try but be ready for the ants!
