Mello on the Beach is such a beautiful place and has everything you need. It is super cute and the location is perfect. It’s is literally just a few steps from the beach. The beach was so clean. White sand and water was calm. Mello on the Beach is walking distance to Publix and a few restaurants. It’s easy to rent a car or golf cart and get around. The people were very kind everywhere we went. We honestly did not expect for people to be polite so it was a pleasant experience. I would stay here 1000 times!

Such a charming little abode. Excellent location… would be the perfect spot for a reunion, multiple family getaway with all the amenities right on sight. Beautiful pool area, outdoor shower x 2 , firepit, lawn games and literally steps from the beach. Walk to restaurants and pubs. Very clean and well stocked with all the necessities. Will come back with our grown children for sure!☀️🌴

We stayed in the gone costal room and had the most incredible stay! Room was so cute and clean. It was very accessible to the beach! Pool was always well taken care of. We had the best trip as a family! Room provided a small cooler, beach chairs, umbrella, beach towels, everything we needed!

Just got back from a 4 night stay at Mello on the Beach and we absolutely loved it! The 3 bedroom High Tide room was perfect for a family of 4 (two kids ages 3 and 1). The room was on the first floor right next to the pool, so our son could nap and with the monitor, we could enjoy the pool with our daughter which was perfect. The sunsets on the beach were beautiful and there are multiple places to eat in walking distance. Also having the kitchen and laundry in unit was a huge plus. All the staff was very friendly and accommodating throughout our stay. Definitely recommend staying here, we'll be back!

We had a room rented for our Anniversary and Hurricane Debby occurred. We tried to cancel our trip due to the named storm but the timing of land fall apparently didn’t fall in line with their cancellation “timeline”so no refund. Mello wouldn’t be able to assist us but oh wait we purchased travel insurance with Red Sky which is the insurance of choice for the hotel. We filed a claim feeling comfortable we were covered.
Red Sky Insurance is telling me that our claim is denied.
Mello on the Beach and Red Sky Insurance both state on website that a named storm let alone a hurricane is within their terms. Every one don’t waste your money in purchasing trip insurance with them.
Hurricane Helene reminds us of all the misinformation we experienced so be careful when making reservations.

Highly recommend! Great little hotel steps from the beach (and tiki bar!)! Beautifully decorated and clean! In the heart of Holmes beach area. Rent a golf cart and cruise the island! Had the best time there this week with my daughter. John the property attendant on call was so sweet and great! We’ll be back!

Just wrapped up a 4 night stay with Mello on the beach. My wife, 2 year old Son, and I couldn't have had more fun on AMI, and a large part was due in fact to the cozy room that we had. The room was spacious, clean, and quiet. There is a pool on-site, which my son loved, and we could literally see the beach/gulf from stepping out onto our front patio. A short walk to the beach. We had a few questions during our stay and staff were quick to respond. We showed up about a half hour before check-in and were let in with no issue. Rates seemed very reasonable for what Mello offers. A huge bonus was the kitchenette, which made preparing meals for our toddler just as easy as if we were at home. Also, the in-room laundry was awesome as well. I am a runner and took a few morning runs on the beach so it was very helpful to be able to toss in my running clothes before throwing them back into my travel bag. We could not be happier and will plan to return if in this area again while escaping the cold Michigan winters!

We had the best time at Mello! The employees were so kind and helpful - especially John and Giselle! - the property was beautiful, the pool area was lovely and it couldn’t be easier to walk to the beach! They thought of every detail in the rooms, and our one bedroom with pullout couch was the perfect size for three sisters to share. We will definitely be back!
