We enjoy visiting often,,,sometimes just to get away for the weekend. Great sunsets! Walking, fishing, and riding bikes. They are even expanding their area! Public buildings are clean. Plenty of room for dogs, and they even have covered picnic areas when needed.

Stayed here 2 springs ago leaving Florida for NH for the summer. We will be staying again this fall heading back to Florida.
Probably one of the cleanest and prettiest state parks in the south that we've stayed at. Close to the USS ALABAMA. Another great take!

This rating is for just a quick day use and birding walk visit. What a great park! Lots of birds both water and on the trail.

One of the best State Parks we have ever stayed in.
My family loved watching gators from the board walks.
Also there was a bird or a frog I'm not sure yet but it sounded like a monkey screeching and my kids would jump outta their shoes and laugh there buts off every time it made the noise.
We cannot wait to return

LOVED this state park! Such a beautiful spot on the water, great views across the bay to Mobile and gorgeous sunrises and sunsets. The sites are very spacious with full hookups - we were on site 61 and we felt like we had a whole football field to ourselves!

Great boardwalk and pier for bird watching. A couple of alligators hanging out in the water and a pair of ospreys nesting in the campground - you could see them fishing every morning.

10 min into downtown Mobile for great oysters - highly recommend Wintzell’s Oyster House downtown!

Loved it! Will be back!!

Great campground, with 50/30 amp full hook-up. Spots are level and are asphalt pads. Partial shade w/ bathroom. The boardwalk in the evening was great !

We stayed here for my daughters college move-in weekend. Spots are nice, ours backed up to the water for some nice views. Facilities are clean. Grounds are tidy. Minutes from downtown Mobile.
