Much better than I expected and remembered from a long time ago. The food and the prices of all of us was phenomenal and the wait staff. Even though there was only one person taking all the orders for approximately 23 of us, she did very quickly and without any problems. Would consider going back just to have dinner there on any occasion.

What an incredible place to have a function at. The rooms are clean and well kept. The grounds are amazing with incredible views plus a gazebo and water fountain. The food is really good and the service staff are top notch especially Doreen and Armond. I definitely recommend this place for a wedding, baby or wedding shower, corporate event, Christmas party etc.

The resteraunt is a little bigger than most resteraunts. They have function rooms and a beautiful landscape with a gazebo.
Tonight, we started with coffee, bread 🍞& butter 🧈, and a cup of Portuguese Kale Soup.
He had the fish & chips ( not greasy at all, just yummy flavor), homemade coleslaw ( top 10 best)
I had Burgundy Sirloin Tips over rice pilaf, homemade butternut Squash ( my favorite side).
The resteraunt is booths & chairs, but we like the booth section. The dining room & bathrooms are very clean & kept up all day.
We go here for weddings, anniversaries, baby showers, and breakfast Sunday Buffets 😋. Oh, and date night 🙆‍♀️
My birthday is coming up next month. This is one of my choices.

50 PEOPLE ..Went for funeral lunch.It was set up buffet style in a big room with a bar overlooking a nice green lawn and a pond ... we had eggs bacon ,frenchtoast, seasoned potatoes, chicken with holidays sause, baked fish , ham an corn , various muffins and juices .. everything went very well the food was very good .. THEN WHY THE 4 STARS AN NOT 5 YOU MAY ASK .. ? THE INTIOR OF THE BUILDING NEEDS A LITTLE UP KEEP FRESH COAT OF PAINT .BUT ILL TAKE THAT AN THE FOOD BE GOOD.. THEN IT LOOK NICE AN THE FOOD SUCK . 😆. ENJOY WE DID 👍

Started meal with lobster bisque soup, followed by coconut shrimp and baked potato. My husband had the scrimp scampi with angel hair pasta. Over 50 crowd pretty much rule the resteraunt in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Great place to have a wedding reception with water views.

Food was very good the people who own the place were amazing it was just a great night. Can't wait to come and eat at the restaurant. I actually went next door to the restaurant and got there bread pudding to go.

We could not have asked for a better experience with our wedding at McGovern’s! Absolutely beautiful water front gazebo ceremony and everything from stunning decorations to delicious food, all handled by their superwoman Kathy! She knows her stuff and will guide you through the entire process, resulting in an unbelievably perfect wedding day! We are so grateful for her!
