The base itself is very quiet and convenient to live on. The commissary, gym, post office, credit union, shoppette and gas station make it very convenient to shop and get errands taken care of, especially if you do not have a vehicle. It is a safe environment for children to play and you can leave your doors unlocked without worry of theft.. My only complaint would be the upkeep of the housing and buildings. They are quite outdated and have appliances and fixtures that are well past its time for use. They have tried in recent years to make some improvements, however, there is a long way to go before things get up to current coding and standards for living conditions.

This place is secured when first entering the gates!
Great placet to do your shopping at the commissary or you can go to the BX you have a wide variety of items to shop. Thay have fast food to. You can pick up your meds at the Pharmacy. Your doctor has to call it in first.
They give you a day to pick them up.
They will test you before you go into pick up your meds. You have to wear a mask while shopping at any of theses places.

The worst phone-based tech support providers in the entire Air Force are located at this base. They do NOT know how to do their jobs, but they'll pretend they do anyway and waste 3 hours accomplishing absolutely nothing after they remote into your PC. Just tell them to send your work request to your local Systems and do NOT let them screw around with your PC.
