nicely marked and maintained loop trails thru fields and woodlands.
view of fields and of mount everett to the west is eye-candy.
unique calcareous soils engender unusual plant communities.
TOR's Bartolomew's Cobble is nearby -if you've never been there, it is a must-see (especially in spring when wildflowers bloom).
the abandoned kiln is a big concrete tower with wetland on one side and ledge outcropping on the other.

We have visited Lime Kiln Farm several times. It is a quiet peaceful location.
Choose your trail and enjoy the beautiful flowers - while watching the butterflies and bees flitting from one shrub to the next.
The walk takes you to lovely meadows with benches along the way. Take advantage of the opportunity to stop for a bit and reflect on nature.
After the meadows, the trail will take you to an area of varied specimens of trees. Listen for the birds as they call to each other.
This is not a strenuous walk. Relax and enjoy.

My first time hiking here. Did the shorter of the two loops. Paths were well maintained. Briefly got lost as I missed the subtle left turn along the field border. Looking forward to seeing it again in winter conditions.

For a nice short hike, this is a good venue. Trails are easy to follow. Very slight elevation crossing open fields. A most enjoyable two mile hike.

Large place with lots to see. Unfortunately, the mosquitos were so aggressive we weren't able to really enjoy our visit, despite having used bug spray.

Nice place, trails are a bit wet, muddy in spots but that is Spring in the Berkshires.
