My wife and I would highly recommend sailing on the Schooner Adventure with Captain Miler-Shelley and the Ardelle With Master builder and Captain Harold A.Burnham in Gloucester Harbor and learning about maritime history. I can't say enough about the Captains and crew who have a passion for their work and give 110% on every trip.We can't wait to bring family and friends on our next trip.πŸ’―πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ

We were the only three people who booked a schooner tour last week on Schooner Ardelle and it was incredible. I couldn't think of a better way to spend two hours getting to see picturesque Gloucester harbor. Thank you, Harold and Tom!

Fabulous night! Our captain and owner of Ardelle, Howard, after a very long day of harbor tours, took our group for the last sail of the day/night for an amazing fireworks display over the harbor! (Howard said it was the best display he had ever seen so far!) He and his crew were friendly, helpful and told stories and answered questions while navigating the ship close to the where the fireworks were executed. The view could not have been better! The night was perfect, with enough wind to allow the sails to billow and enjoy the peacefulness of the water. Howard commanded his vessel with expert precision. We were in good hands for sure! A beautiful end to a wonderful day!

A recent sail with Maritime Heritage Charters & NEA National Heritage Fellow, Captain Harold Burnham, was a standout on my trip. Burnham, a master shipwright and maritime historian, builds his own schooners and is a wealth of information on local history. The Schooner Ardelle, like his other vessels, is beautifully crafted and offers an immersive experience into the region's maritime heritage. Burnham's deep roots in the community and passion for sharing his knowledge make this trip truly special.
