Thinking of staying here? Don't. Bathrooms are only unlocked for a short period of time per day. Her amps are incorrect for a camper and can only run either the AC or the microwave. Not both. The AIR B&B on her page? It's one of two things: rundown mobile home or rundown camper. She said it's cute and modern, but it's not. It's incredibly rundown and for sale, so don't expect her to be around to help with ANYTHING. She doesn't answer phone calls or texts reliably. Save yourself the headache. Go to the National Park to stay. You will have better amenities. She's not saving you any money

We have stayed for 5 days. Even though we are by the airport we have had 2 planes land during the day. The place is shady by beautiful old trees. The store is very clean and has anything you would need. It's about 6 miles to the town of Mt. Ida. Several places to eat. Crystal digging is close. Been digging at the Avatar Mine. We have dug at all of them around here and have found them to be the best. There are tons and lots of herbal items in the store. Go shopping.

This place has a little bit of everything. From Gourmet Foods to Health Food Supplies essential oils and raw local honey. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly, and there are few local craft and quite a few Antiques and interesting gifts. Definitely worth stopping by!

The campsite is very quite and we were in site 9. Shaded by a huge tree. Water, electric, and sewer hook up. There isn't any place to walk or explore. It is just off the highway. There is Twin Creek down the road. Plus it is certainly close to many access points of Lake Ouachita. I felt the price was reasonable.

Attempted to stay here on our trip to Florida. Lady working there seemed nice and we parked and started to set up camp. Less than 30 minutes after we got there, power went out to the whole town. We stayed for about 3.5 hours and still no electricity. We have animals that travel with us, and they weren’t handling the heat too well, so we found another spot nearby. When we asked for a refund (knowing the power issue was out of her control) she reluctantly refunded half our fee, stating it wasn’t policy to do so. I know the power wasn’t her fault, but come on....a little customer service goes a long way.
