This recently remodeled motel/hotel should not be referred to as a resort. In big bold letters the headline should read First Come First Serve is more like it. We paid over $400.00 for one room for one night, times two to take our toddlers and 7 year old grandchildren to the water park. Upon arrival we soon realized that they had sold so many day passes before we got there it was standing room only, like a mosh pit at a sold out concert only in a water park. There were so many people at the pool that we did not feel safe, sanitary or welcomed. The bathroom was soiled with dirty towels all over the floor and stalls, there was no way we felt safe changing in this bathroom. The board of health should be called along with someone checking in on capacity levels because there is no way the environment that I encountered should be considered safe for children nor adults. I do not recommend coming here on a weekend, I did come on a Saturday, however, when you pay 400 x’s 2 for a total of 800 dollars for the night you expect some rules and regulations to apply especially on a sold out weekend for the hotel guests. If the hotel is sold out why would you sell day passes and take away from your overnight guests experience. Someone needs a lesson in guest management and hospitality, because what I experienced here at this so called resort was nothing short of deplorable. If it wasn’t for my grandchildren being profoundly disappointed I would have insisted on my money back and left. Instead I will have to worry for the next two weeks that they don’t develop some sort of infection from the amount of people they let in this very small indoor pool area! I would not recommend this place nor will I ever return again.

Be very careful when reviewing your bill. I keep getting notifications of a 200 dollar room upgrade. I did not receive said upgrade for a 3 bedroom apt. I called the front desk asking the associate where the third bedroom (that doesn't exist) is. She told me to open some doors and look around for it. No matter how many times
I've contacted the desk the problem is not remedied. Shameful. The facility is beautiful. I'm guessing they have so many people as guests they don't care what the guests think.

Stayed here for a night with my husband and two toddlers and loved it!

Hotel looks beautiful and clean. Room is huge and beds are so comfy. We slept great!

Water park was awesome and both parents and kids loved it! Lifeguards really make sure to watch closely!

We did take out from shark fin restaurant and it was yummy!

24 hour arcade was so clutch since we have young kids who wake up early!

Kids wanted to do water park the day of checkout but it wasn’t open until 10am and checkout was at 11am so front desk was sweet enough to let us check out at 12pm! Thank you ladies!

Would just recommend having a step stool in the room because the kids couldn’t reach the sink and we had to use the trash can.

We tried this place for a quick family get away. I regret wasting my time. The waterpark was the only good thing about this place . We go to check in at 4 pm and the line was 60-70 people . We tried earlier but the room was not ready (not a problem) when I go to check in I booked the premiere king room with balcony , they down graded me with no notice or discount to a king room with the waterpark view. I have two children and. I booked the room I did to be able to escape some of the noise but have a place for them to have fun close. When I was downgraded they did not say anything to me about it until I brought it to their attention . Once I did they were surprised I noticed. How do you downgrade someone without telling them or even giving them money back ? Then when they assigned us a new room that did not have elevator access even though I had my child in a stroller with me when checking in. Again terrible customer service .. they told me they can have someone help carry the stroller up. What if we go out am I supposed to wait for help? And what about elderly or people with disabilities … again terrible customer service . Once we received a room with elevator access we were given keys that did not work to open up our room. So we had to get new keys. Also every room is supposed to come with bath robes and ours didn’t .to top it all off our light fixtures are flickering on either side of the bed. A resort is supposed to be a place you can go and relax with your family to get away from the stress but instead this became a vacation from hell and very stressful . I will not be coming back here again

This Margaritaville is really nice. So bright and new. They did a very nice job with the planning. Layout is perfect. We loved it there. Inside water park area was nice. We had fun there. An as they get more added there with food and drinks it will be great. Service from front desk to room and restaurant/ bar were great. Two ladies that waited on us were
Taryn and Kelly who we feel did so well and took time to talk with us if not busy. We look forward to going back. Fins up

Overall we had a decent experience and most importantly the kids loved it! I think having just reopened a few months ago during off season, they were not prepared for the sold out February school vacation week. While the staff and service was absolutely 5 star, they seemed a bit overwhelmed with the crowds. Checkin took about 45 minutes, pool towels were very hard to come by, food service while really good did take longer than expected. The rooms were really nice including very nicely appointed bathrooms. While overall the rooms were clean, we did have a stained sheet/mattress cover. Most of the resort was nicely renovated and modern but the doors to the rooms were still from the old resort and just painted over. They had large gaps and let a lot of outside noise and light into the room. I was also astonished at how many buckets catching rain coming through the roof and ceiling there were. For a resort that was just remodeled, that should not be happening. I would try coming again in the future and during an off time with hopes that they’ve ironed out most of those wrinkles.

Amber. Our waitress at Margaritaville was so amazing. She was handling every single table with ease, even though she was on her own at Landshark. Def recommend to look for her when you visit. She goes above and beyond. I really appreciated how Michael, also made it a point to ensure we were all well taken care of.

The property is very clean and well maintained. The staff, specifically Mindy and Rachel(I hope that’s correct) had excellent customer service. They both posses the skills to deal with the public. Rachel rectified an issue(credit card server issue) and her personality was exceptional. Mindy assisted with a room swap so that our two parties could have adjoining rooms. She did so seamlessly, and with a very pleasant disposition.
The water park manager (maybe Scott)was also very helpful with some questions I had for a member of our group.
The bathrooms in the rooms are fully stocked with towels which makes a huge difference in my opinion when you don’t even have to worry about finding housekeeping, for more. Although housekeeping is easily found and they are all so very nice!! The whole property smells great and clean! The scent is not overwhelming by any means but most importantly it’s not meant to mask any odors. I would definitely recommend staying here.
