We experienced the sunset tour in January 2025. The employees were in a good mood and super friendly. The tour goes south from Marathon, under the Seven Mile Bridge and then around Boot Key Island. The journey lasts until it gets dark. We can only highly recommend the tour, it was really great!

Such a pleasant surprise to have drinks (even champagne!) and snacks offered at no charge. Kevin and Scott were extremely personal, funny, and seemed to have lots of interesting info about the things we saw! And speaking of what we saw - it was amazing and beautiful with a gorgeous sunset!! We even saw dolphins (including a baby)! The boat was large, clean, and comfortable. The check in process was pretty easily accomplished. Would definitely recommend!

My husband and I had the most wonderful sunset sail with Marathon Mermaid Charters. It was just the 'cheer up' evening we needed. We can highly recommend the trip from the wonderful hospitality, the great music selection, and good old nature at it's best giving us the best sunset beside the 7 Mile Bridge.

Awesome sandbar excursion experience. The captain and first mate were great as well. We would definitely recommend it. And would go again in a heartbeat. Would also recommend taking watershoes. However was still a great time.

Staying in Marathon and wanted to get out on the water with our family so we found and choose Marathon Mermaid Charters for a sunset cruise. Was able to book earlier that day which was fortunate. We were 3 adults and a 3 and 7 year old. The crew was fantastic, the boat was very comfortable and sparkling clean. They took us on a great tour and setup in the perfect spot for the sunset. They took pictures for everyone who wanted them to, served snacks and sparkling wine. On the way they back in they spotted a dolphin and circled around so the dolphin could entertain us! Was a great choice, if you are looking for a cruise you can't go wrong with Marathon Mermaid Charters!

Brenden and Dawn the captain and first mate were very funny and entertaining. They showed us lots of neat areas. The sky didn’t cooperate so no sunset but we saw lots of dolphins had a great time and would highly recommend. Brenden even acted as the sun going down for us! Saw so many dolphins 🐬

Our group of 8 women had a blast! Kevin and Heather were great, knowledgeable and kept the champagne flowing! The boat was full but there is plenty of room to walk around, take pictures or even dance. The sunset was amazing! I would definitely recommend this for anyone visiting Marathon!

We had so much fun! The ladies were incredibly professional and fun at the same time which we loved! The sunset was absolutely beautiful and worth doing when you're visiting Marathon! They offered us complimentary champagne, they had soft drinks, water and snacks! The music was a fun touch! We absolutely loved everything about it, thank you!!!
